We are delighted to invite you to our ancient, and completely renovated, "Il Gallo" (the rooster) Bed and Breakfast in the Tuscan hillside above the walled Roman town of Lucca. After a 15 minute drive up from Lucca you will find yourselves surrounded by olive groves with stunning views out over the mountainsides and valleys. Your room After leaving your car in the shade of the olive trees, after just a few steps you will be at the private entrance to your romantic bedroom with lovely views from every window - even from the shower! There is an en-suite bathroom complete with toiletteries, a wardrobe, a mini fridge, a hostess tray for making coffee and tea, free WIFI (also on your private terrace), a ceiling fan, and books/maps about Italy.

First floor apartment with separate entrance on 2 levels, renovated with very fine finishes, parquet on the floors, visible beams and new furniture. It’s equipped with all comforts and it’s very close to the central Piazza Maggiore. Downstairs there’s one living room with a fully equipped kitchen, one comfortable sofa bed and one TV, upstairs one comfortable bedroom, one bathroom with window and one big comfortable shower. casaBARTHEL is a perfect place for a vacation and an artist residency, immersed in the Tuscan landscape only 15' from the florentine Duomo. Come and live with us; enjoy the olive trees, the kitchen garden, our horse Astro and our family life style, away from the working rhythm. By providing wifi only in the communal courtyard we suggest to take a break from been connected with elsewhere and enjoy the 'here and now' . But if you need to work you can rent a portable private connection from us.

Gli alloggi (3 camere matrimoniali + 1 camera con 2 letti) sono all'interno di una villa settecentesca ed arredati con mobilio dell'epoca facente parte dell'arredo esistente. Le camere sono situate al primo piano, servito da un'ampia scala. La villa è circondata da un ampio giardino con parco dotato di lettini e ombrelloni dedicati al relax degli ospiti.

A disposizione piatti, stoviglie, lenzuola, biancheria da cucina e da bagno. Tassa di soggiorno e colazione incluse. Parcheggio in strada con disco orario. Nelle vie attigue a pagamento.

On request I’ll be happy to prepare for you a delicious Italian breakfast or other meals but, remember, these service are not included in the price and not available on Sunday.

Il mio alloggio è vicinissimo alla splendida Piazza di Santa Croce. La zona è centrale ma tranquilla. In pochissimi minuti a piedi si posso raggiungere ed ammirare i principali monumenti della città: Palazzo Vecchio, gli Uffizi, il Duomo, Palazzo Pitti e la Basilica di San Lorenzo. L'appartamento è molto luminoso e le stanze son comode e spaziose. Il mio alloggio è adatto a coppie, chi viaggia per lavoro e famiglie con bambini.

Il bagno, appena fuori dalla stanza (letteralmente la porta accanto), luminoso con vista sul giardino, è privato. C’è un piccolo frigo presente nella vostra stanza.
