The Live Oak is one of HoneyTree's original stilted luxury cabins built in a cluster of oaks on the Palo Alto creek. Relax in the hammock. Snuggle up in the nook by the round window for some reading. Soak in the private candlelit outdoor bathtub with an open view of nature (use it as a bath or a hot tub!). Retire to the king bed under lacy mosquito netting and twinkle lights. The Gumbo Getaway is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with a king bed and a full sofa sleeper in the living room. Our cabin was built in 2021. We welcome our guests to come enjoy our cozy spot in the hill country with the convenience of staying only 15 mins from Main Street in Fredericksburg. **Guests are permitted to walk the road starting at the cattle guard entrance and ending at The Lagniappe Lodge. (The LL has a big rock sign out front.) Do not walk past the Lagniappe Lodge.**
