Houten huisjes in English Channel

It's like nowhere we've stayed before and it's certainly set the bar. The decor and ambience is unmatched. Relaxing in the rocking chairs and hammock felt like something from a movie! Not to mention the tree deck, hot tub and lovely Sheppy's cider 🍻 - perfection x

Spent 3 fabulous nights at Tom's hut and we would definitely like to return. The location was peacefull and very private (pheasant, deer and rabbits were our only close neighbours) We made good use of the wood fired tub and we cooked all our meals on the firepit/BBQ in the evenings. The hut was spotless with everything we needed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. All in all, a really great place to stay. Thanks Tom 5*

The stay was just lovely!:) Exactly as pictured. We went there to celebrate birthday and did a lovely BBQ&Drinks. Everything we needed was there for us to use:) Hot tub was clean, warm and relaxing. I could stay there all night watching the stars. Alexia gave us fresh orange juice, milk and home made load of bread for the morning! Never been anywhere with such a thoughtful host!:) It was very well equipped, kitchen had everything possible, fresh towels and robes, even the body wash etc in the bathroom was a quality brand:) so many board games available aswell and next time I’m gonna buy a mattress I’m gonna buy the one that was in the cabin! So comfy! Overall 11/10 experience, it was very pleasant.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge - it was so conveniently located and Carly provided really helpful instructions for how to find it. The fields surrounding the lodge were beautiful and we thought the bed was very comfortable!

Spent the weekend at Hillcrest Hideaway and it didn’t disappoint. Prosecco and brownies on arrival with a personalised welcome sign, The place was clean and spacious with lots of natural light. We enjoyed both the sauna and hot tub. All instructions were very clear on how to use. Check-in was very easy and host were around if we ever needed any assistance which we didn’t. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The cabin was a lovely place to take a trip away. Adam and Vicky were very helpful before we arrived and when we got there, as well as leaving lots of helpful information in the cabin. Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the dark skies and view of the stars from the hot tub ❤️ Thank you very much x

This was our third time staying at Torvale and we loved it! The place was easy to find and get into, it was clean and tidy, and we were given some lovely welcome treats to make the holiday extra special. The facilities are fantastic - the hot tub is a particular favourite - and we always love how private and comfortable Torvale is. The hosts are also great - always helpful, easy to contact and very welcoming. Can't recommend enough!

Second stay at the cabin. Has everything we need few a few days away and is perfectly located for trips into Salisbury and the new forest. The small garden is great if travelling with a furry companion.(check for the visiting cockerel if said companion has a prey drive & note there are gaps in the hedge if they’re inclined to escape) The cabin is warm, cosy & clean but the bed could still benefit from a mattress topper (but this could be down to our sensitive spinal regions!) Overall, we are happy with Nicks place 9/10 *

This was our second stay at The Drey and it was just as lovely as we remembered. We enjoyed the company of Anna and Cooper, the beautiful local walks, a trip in the car for a walk at Blackheath and a couple of visits to the Scarlett Arms. Our 7 year old daughter and 10 year old dog had the time of their lives with Cooper and exploring the woods!

This is a lovely place to stay. The cabin is clean, well equipped and spacious. We all enjoyed relaxing by the wood fire. Communication with Sarissa and check-in was straightforward. We appreciated the folder full of information about the local area and things to do/places to eat.

lovely place to stay on a live working farm, all animals are amazing kids and our selves will miss them! hot tub was one of the best we have been in held the heat really well. views from the place are amazing host and family are lovely people too. definitely will be coming back

Lovely, clean, comfortable Cabin, so much better than I expected. Everything you would need for your stay. Lovely garden space for our dogs to enjoy. Location perfect for us, to take the dogs walking on the forest, and local pub a short walk away. Perfect weekend.

The Cabin is simply stunning. Amanda has thought of absolutely everything with impeccable taste. Private location, set in beautiful grounds, yet close to many tourist attractions. Welcome hamper including doggy treats a lovely touch. Can't fault a thing and would love to stay again.

We had a lovely few days at Sue Hut and really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotless, nicely prepared for our arrival, and felt so welcoming. We were greeted with complimentary milk and water, and there were even treats waiting for our pup—which was such a thoughtful touch. The hut had everything we needed, including dog bowls and soft, clean sleeping blankets for our furry friend. The cozy decorations throughout the space made it feel warm and homely, and everything smelled fresh and inviting. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into hosting here. We felt really well looked after and would happily come back!

Wow, what a lovely cabin in a lovely place, hosts were amazing, everything was so clean, even the dog bed! we were completely left alone after entering the cabin which was perfect, was told not to put my dog on a lead, really lovely place will definitely be returning, couldn't of asked for any more. Our stay at the Stonecrackers was great. Hadyn and Caroline welcomed us shortly after our arrival, we enjoyed a tasty hamper waiting for us inside, they were also very helpful for a few questions we had during our stay. The cabin and surroundings made for the perfect place to switch-off and unwind. The only problem of our stay was the long weekend wasn't long enough, our mini dachshund would certainly agree! We'd love to come back when we next visit Exmoor.

I recently stayed at this awesome wood cabin and had such a great time. The location is super peaceful, perfect for getting away from everything. The owners were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin itself was cozy and had all the basics for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay!

Amazing peaceful lodge on the Somerset/Dorset border full of character. Henry is a great host and was very welcoming. Thoroughly recommend.

We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place for a New Years reunion for 5 lifelong friends. We're of an age where warmth and convenience are our goals, and this large, well-appointed and unusual log cabin gave us all these. In the summer, NOATAC would be ideal for those who want the great outdoors, perhaps a younger generation than us, as there is a large garden and decked area. But we still enjoyed a walk or two, even if it was mid-winter! Thanks, Matthew, for a most enjoyable stay.

Had a really great time in the cabin, basic but really homely. Well equipped, great views, nice secluded location on the moors. Was nice to be warm and toasty in the cabin while the wind and rain howled outside. Would stay again next time we are down that way. Nice and close to Penzance for winter evening activities.

The place was peaceful and much bigger than we expected. The jacuzzi was the cherry on the cake, and we loved every minute. Even though there was a slight issue with an unexpected security deposit once we checked with AirB&B the hosts didn’t try to ask for it in the end anyway and everyone was friendly and left us to our privacy.
