My partner and I stayed for a long weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a big house, and while it’s on the “older” side, it was incredibly homey and cozy. There were blankets everywhere, plenty of spaces to relax and read a book! They thought of everything—from robes, slippers, hot tub towels to chargers in every corner! We didn’t cook much, but the kitchen was fully stocked. The backyard is cute, and the hot tub was lovely. Not the fanciest, but it got the job done. There’s absolutely nothing better than hearing the waves from the lake and seeing the sunsets/sunrises and stars at night. Super close to Point Pelee, which was a lovely day outing. The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly—great communication! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful stay!

Such a beautiful and peaceful house. Accommodation were amazing, Denise was very proactive and responsive! Wish the weather was better in order for us to take full advantage of the outdoor activities/amenities. We'd definitely love to come back!

I visited Nik's place with my friends and their families and we had a great time there. The property was very well maintained and there were lots of activities to do indoor and outdoor! The swimming pool was unfortunately not usable during my visit! Hopefully that gets fixed the next time!!

We felt like we were in a hallmark movie! Super cute home right on the lake. We could hear the water when the sliders were open and it was very quiet when they were closed. Home was comfortable and welcoming. Clean and had all the things we needed. The owner Jim is just a cool guy! We were in town for work and we really looked forward to coming home every night. We visited Point Peele National Park and stayed at Janet's place for 3 nights. The location is super convenient - only 20 minutes from the park (and also 5 minutes from Hillman Marsh!). The place is very spacious and the surrounding is peaceful and serene.

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my 2 kids aged 8 and 11. The place was nice and clean and the host was easily contactable and sent us a message every couple of days to check all was ok. We had plenty of room and facilities to cook and do our laundry. The pool area out the back was great and my kids and I spent many hours swimming. I would definitely consider booking again if we are back in the area next year.

Ali’s place is our go to whenever we’re in Windsor. His place is beautifully equipped with everything that will make your stay comfortable. He’s very responsive and goes out of his way to make sure you are taken care of.

We enjoyed our stay! The location was convenient for visiting Point Pelee National Park. The bed was comfortable, the place was very clean, and Jamie and Cindy communicated clearly before and throughout our stay. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay, the back alley area was a little hard to find at first but everything else was great.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, well-stocked, and perfectly located—right outside Point Pelee. One of the highlights was having access to a beach where you can launch a kayak. We also loved the backyard, which was perfect for bird watching and enjoying the sunset. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great outdoor activities! We intend to come back soon.

Stephanie and Dana's place is great and they answered all of my questions whenever I had concerns. the place is clean and has a fully stocked pantry and kitchen, we enjoyed the pool and rec centre very much. the resort is quiet and clean, the staff and residents are friendly and helpful, unlike other camp grounds that we have been that people were rowdy and loud until midnight. we had a great time relaxing and have fun in Stephanie and Dana's place and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Absolute five star experience. Those that grew up on the water will appreciate the level of detail these hosts put in to providing a fantastic lake cottage experience. The space is quaint, but every detail was considered and executed to perfection. I’m wary of providing too good of a review, lest the secret of this perfect getaway gets out and we cannot book this again in the future. If you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway weekend, this is the spot for you. Many thanks to Paul and his team for making our weekend exactly what we hoped for.

Enjoyed our stay very clean a lot of necessities for us more than expected you really don’t need to bring anything but food they had everything you could think of there to use for cooking supplies… was also was very easy to find and the neighbors around us were nice also would definitely recommend…

We have wanted to visit Pelee Island for a very long time and so for my husband birthday we decided to come! All we were interested in doing was just to chill. The home was so perfect for our stay, Shelley was amazingly accommodating and we highly recommend The Cottage House. We look forward to another time here!

To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement! The cottage is so much larger and even more comfy than I anticipated! The space has two eating areas inside, as well as a large picnic table, Tiki Hut, expansive dock, and fire pit right outside your door. The space was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying our stay. There are so many interesting books, games, and treasures to explore, such a unique space is hard to capture in photographs, but I think that is part of the magic. Coffee and tea on the dock in the morning was very peaceful and we have incredible memories of watching the many species of birds nesting in a protected migratory area right on the banks of the river just before sunset. We eat the freshest corn we have ever tasted, gifted to us by Maryann as well as many other small gifts that made the stay so chill and comfortable. Maryann and Brad are super friendly but also very respectful of your privacy. The perfect hosts and really good people.
