The house has been a labor of love for Dave & myself, we've restored it from an almost derelict state to a charming & comfortable farm house stay. Our property name? Dave grew up on the farm & this special place has always had its own spring water which feeds the farm dam. Even in the driest years this precious resource continued to flow.

Located up in the hills near the sheep and cows you can sit back relax and enjoy the beauties of the pioneer valley. Just a few metres from a friendly herd of sheep with 1 maremma dog (chuck) you are more than welcome to wander over to them. This location is also minutes of the start of the mountain bike track.

My place is close to great views and plenty of wildlife. It is great for romantic getaways or exploring the rainforest to see birds, platypus in the creek at Broken River or just to hang out. The name "Eungella" means "land of cloud" so when you wake up in the morning you will likely be surrounded by thick cooling cloud which clears by about 9am to a beautiful sunny day with the wildlife just waiting to be discovered! Eungella is over an hour from Mackay.
