Wat je gaat doen

We will walk a beautiful 3.5-mile circuit including part of the South West Coast Path, England's longest National Trail. Our route will gently rise over clifftops and pass rocky coves, sandy beaches and the exquisite Polridmouth Cove, the inspiration for Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca's cove. There's a wealth of wildlife to spot, literary connections to make and an optional climb up the "daymark" tower which is visible for miles. This is open to the public on summer Sundays and manned by volunteers, so subject to availability.
Other things to note
This is a moderately strenuous 3.5 mile walk on country footpaths and tracks. There is one climb and descent in each direction of approximately 75m. if you make the optional climb up inside the tower you will need to be comfortable with confined spaces and heights

Waar je naartoe gaat

Starting from the National Trust car park at Combe, we will walk out onto the South West Coast Path National Trail. This takes us to the sandy cove at Polridmouth and then up through a hayfield to the Gribbin Head daymark tower. We will return via Polridmouth again then take a well used path through farmland back to the car park.

Sunday was a gorgeous day for this walk. Lucy was a lovely lady and very knowledgable about the area, she spoke about the national trust and volunteers. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 to all the volunteers for there time and effort in maintaining these paths for us all to enjoy. Thank you to Lucy for a very enjoyable mornings walk beautiful scenery and lovely weather, who could ask for more 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😀
