Vakantiewoningen met vuurplaats in Exuma

Dorothy and the property manager were both as available and helpful as anyone could ever need. My questions were always answered close to immediately and was always super friendly! This newly renovated two bedroom two bathroom house was as beautiful or more beautiful than the photos. There were also lots of nice extras like board and yard games, a couple boogie boards, beach buckets and shovels, an easy to carry small size cooler, a couple snorkel sets, beach towels, etc. Note, no laundry machines. I would however only recommend this rental to groups who LOVE the sound and view of crashing waves. The house is situated very close to a cliff edge with very rough surf (no safe swimming on site). The hot tub gazebo literally gets splashed by wave spray sometimes and the wind and waves are very constant. Closest beach is ok for waking on but not safe to swim. Of course via car you will have access to many wonderful beaches close by that are swimmable and are gorgeous (must do Coco Plum)!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le logement de Mel. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison et les équipements et jouets pour bébé ont été fortement appréciés par notre fille de bientôt 2 ans. Il est vrai que le terrain est grand avec beaucoup de potentiel mais difficilement praticable malheureusement. Nous avons laissé notre voiture en bas du chemin et tout s’est très bien passé.

Amanda’s place provides Cat island catharsis. Among the most cherished of travel experiences. Cat Island is remote, and so a real chance to disconnect from the world and restore in Bahamian beauty.

Super Schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Kevica und ihr Mann waren tolle Gastgeber! Die zwei sind sehr hilfsbereit und herzlich. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das war mit Abatand die beste Unterkunft und die besten Gastgeber, die wir bisher hatten. Schade, dass man nur 5 Sterne vergeben kann ;-)

A snorkeler's private haven! We were very comfortable inside the house. It was clean with plenty of room, but we didn't spend much time inside. There was so much to explore outside, right on site. Natural (rocky) terrain leading into the ocean. Bring your water shoes! Go out to the sandbar at low tide or snorkel around the edges of the rock or the sunken mooring/docking structures from another time. Then come up and rinse off under the outdoor shower. Char is your local contact and she is warm and wonderful and responds quickly if you need something.

This was our third trip to the island, and by far, the best stay we've had! Cat was incredibly responsive and provided great insights. The house itself was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The king-size bed was a treat and we loved watching the hermit crabs and lizards roam around daily. The beach was peaceful and private, perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling, both of which were fantastic. Power outages were minimal (to be expected on the island), and while water pressure on cisterns can be a bit low, it's nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, we had a perfect week in our favorite place and would highly recommend this property!
