Houten huisjes in Eyjafjörður

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Wasmachine!!! Vaatwasmachine, broodrooster, met als kers op de taart de sauna en hot tub. Alles was erg schoon en goed verzorgd met aandacht voor details. De koffie gelegenheid maakte het verblijf helemaal af.

This place is absolutely amazing! Daníel is an incredible host and really took care of everything for this stay. He was responsive, proactive, and really made me feel at home here. The Airbnb itself is magical, between the mountains, view of a the river and horizon, the chance to see the Northern Lights at night, and the fully decked out and pristine cabin with hot tub and sauna, you could not ask for a better stay in Northern Iceland.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The area was beautiful and not too far away from some great waterfalls and lovely walks. Our host were very responsive and had some great ideas and recommendations. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage!

Great place to stay in the Husavik area--very peaceful

Beautiful modern space that made us feel right at home. We loved that everything came with the place (towels, bags for wet swimsuits, car charging station, hot tub, etc.) Response time was immediate and super quick.

After we had been looking forward to staying in Heiðas cabin for so long, we just fell in love with it even more from the very moment we arrived. What a gem <3 Aparts from being perfectly clean and well-equipped, the cabin simply just spread such charme and warmth that it was the best possible place we could have returned to after long days of exploration and adventure. Heiða, you are a wonderful host and we would love to come back. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful house <3

Lovely cabin in the middle of nowhere. Our cabin was number 3a and looks better than the actual photos. Warm and cozy both rooms bathroom and main room. It has a big window great to see the Northern lights (although we couldn’t see them). The place was clean and had a comfy bed.

Such a beautiful and private location. We thought the cabin was very homely and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay very much! The only suggestion I’d make is to amend the listing to say it has an oven as opposed to a microwave, because we brought food to microwave thinking that’s the option we had. Such a great place though and we would definitely stay again 😊

Bellissima casetta in mezzo alle montagne islandesi. C’è tutto quello che serve per sentirsi davvero in mezzo alla natura! All’interno una bellissima casa con tutto il necessario per passare dei bellissimi momenti..consigliatissimo!

Un increíble alojamiento, muy auténtico y con todo lo que necesitas. El equipamiento es excelente y tiene toques especiales. Sin duda lo recomiendo y más si viajas en familia. El jacuzzi es increíble. Hay una tienda cercana para comprar alimentos básicos. Madara fue una excelente anfitriona, me ayudó desde el primer momento y siempre estuvo atenta, brindando recomendaciones e indicaciones.

Great stay! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We also highly recommend trying the horseback riding experience!

Clean, looks very new, good beds. Great environment, beautiful valley with great hiking oppurtunities. I really recommend booking the breakfast, we got f.ex. among other things smoked salmon and smoked trout, on freshly baked bread, yummy :)

Superbe endroit, très paisible en pleine nature avec un petit bassin d’eau chaude et douce dont il est difficile de s’extraire dès qu’on y a goûté. Mise à disposition de peignoirs et de crocs bien utiles 😄 séjour fabuleux. Les balades à cheval proposées sont géniales et le personnel extrêmement sympathique

Das Haus ist einfach wundervoll. Wir hatten 3 tolle Tage im Haus und konnten die Wale beobachten. Für uns war dieses Haus ein Highlight in Island. Immer wieder gerne…Danke dafür!

Die Lage des Cottage ist schön ruhig mit einem tollen Ausblick auf die Berge und das Meer. Húsavík ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Cottage ist gemütlich ohne viel Schnick Schnack. Man kann dort super abschalten. Das Cottage ist mit allen notwendigen Sachen ausgestattet und so wie im Inserat beschrieben. Wir haben es sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Daniel was a brilliant host, and we loved our stay there. He and Stefan were immediate and super helpful with their responses. The cabins are perfect, with amazing views of the scenery. The sauna and two hot tubs are great to watch the sunset and northern lights. The location is spectacular, which is perfect to unwind and relax in. We would highly recommend this stay.

Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen, jedoch mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Die Schotterpiste macht Spass mit einem 4x4. Die Aussicht auf Akureyri ist wunderschön und an 2 Abenden konnten wir Nordlichter sehen. Die Unterkunft ist angenehm und ideal zum Energie tanken für die nächsten Abenteuer. Die Forest Lagoon mit ihren schönen Pools und Finnischer Sauna ist weniger als 10 Minuten per Auto entfernt.

I really enjoyed my stay in Bakkakot! The little cabins in the forest are really cute and cozy! Also, having access to an outdoor hottub with snow all around was an amazing experience (although the water was a bit too hot I would say)! Overall everything was great!
