We had a group 10 for a bachelor party. At first we were a little worried about the idea of Paula staying at the same residence since we had such a large group, and weren’t sure we’d be able to play music etc. not only was Paula great at giving us privacy she mentioned that she had hosted DJs in the past and was comfortable with noise, she was extremely accommodating and even cooked us breakfast both days. Truly an amazing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Everything was in good condition and very clean. Would recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay.

We loved our stay at Hart house. We were surprised to arrive and see it really was right across the street from the temple. It was an amazing view, not to mention the view of the mississippi river down the hill. The home is appointed in antique and arts & craft period pieces. There was lots of room for our family of 6 too. It was beautiful and just fantastic. The weather got cold and very windy and we enjoyed staying indoors that evening and enjoying the beautiful home and view. This is not a comment on the house but Nauvoo in general for April. There is very little to eat in town. There is no grocery store in town and Keokuk 20+min away is the closest city with grocery stores. We decided we’d just eat out. Well, Casey’s gas station is the only place open for breakfast before 10am, and gratefully, their breakfast pizza and breakfast wraps are ok. For dinner, the nauvoo inn is open on the weekend but on a weekday night, the Red Front is all that’s open. Just a heads up!

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. Beautiful interior, super clean, comfy bed, convenient to downtown. We’d definitely stay here again.

Paul and Tricia's place -- half a duplex -- was a great find in Mt. Pleasant. Check in was a breeze, the place was spotless and charming. There was a nice selection of snacks awaiting me and TVs with Roku in both the living room and bedroom. They even had washer/dryer access which came in handy to get the wrinkles out of my dress shirt. The rules of the house were clearly communicated and easy to do. The neighborhood is within walking distance of the town square where there were a number of nice places to eat. Pad Thai is a local Thai place that was surprising to discover in a small Iowa town. The singular downside to this location has nothing at all to do with the space or the attentive host, but with the proximity to the railroad tracks -- but the hosts disclose that the unit is within walking distance to the Amtrak station. Overall, though, the place was great and should I find myself back in Mt. Pleasant again, I would happily return to this airBnB.

The Droptine Cottage was exactly what we were looking for and Tony was great to work with! Super easy to find and get inside, with all of the amenities we needed for a quick trip to rural Iowa.

Wonderful place with easy walking to everything. Host is great and the restaurant below is wonderful.

My only regret about staying here is that I didn't stay longer. As a night shift worker it's not always easy to find a place this peaceful during the daytime but this was one of them. The unit itself was also perfectly appointed and updated. There was nothing I wished I had, it was all there. The bathroom towels extremely plush. Access to washer and dryer was very efficient. The host was gracious and responsive. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.
