This sweet little east-facing home is nestled in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, surrounded by lovely neighbors, mature trees, and gorgeous flower and vegetable gardens for you to enjoy. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place: the town square, county hospital, university, library, laundromat, community rec center, golf courses, and grocery stores are all under a 10 minute drive.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.

This newly remodeled apartment is comfortable and cozy and just a short distance from the city square. The local grocery store is two blocks down an elley that feel like a country road. A truly tranquil retreat. Free bicycles make it easy to get around and enjoy the 17 mile bike trail that circles the town.
