East Chop Cottage - walk to lighthouse & beach!

This quaint little cottage is located in the heart of East Chop, a neighborhood of Oak Bluffs. East Chop features the high, prominent bluffs that gave Oak Bluffs its name. A lighthouse, East Chop Light, stands at the north end of the chop on Telegraph Hill- only a five minute walk from the cottage. The cottage is a twelve minute walk to the harbor, and about a mile from the Oak Bluffs ferry! There is a public beach about 1/2 mile down the road. ***This space is not suitable for children

Cottage in Fairhaven, perfect for a vacation for a small family, a romantic getaway or a home away from home if you are in the area for business. Enjoy all a vacation has to offer. During warmer weather, walk to the public beach and boat ramp - swim, sun, boat. Spend evenings by the outdoor fireplace. This cozy cottage is located on a private 42 acre, spring fed, crystal clear private pond. Enjoy kayaking, swimming or fishing from the dock or just relax on the deck overlooking the pond. Sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms and trundle bed in the 4 season room. There is good fishing and canal cruises, cafes and restaurants close by and a summer concert series in park. Walking distance to West Falmouth Market, Village Café and Eulinda's Ice Cream is 1 min., 3 min. walk to the Shining Sea Bikeway and 20 min. walk (3 min. drive) to Chapoquoit beach. Ideal for a young, energetic family with unlimited mobility. No pets please! Attic bedroom, small bedroom w/bunk bed for 2 kids, living room w/sofa bed for 2, covered porch, outdoor table and shower.
