Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. The house was lovingly restored to maintain its original stone features. A perfect place to enjoy with family and friends as it comfortably accomodates up to 6 people.

Com interiores amplos e funcionais, destaca-se pelos agradáveis espaços exteriores: uma piscina de água salgada e várias áreas pensadas para relaxar e apreciar a vista sobre o Atlântico. Mesmo à porta da Villa, na pequena baía em frente, pode-se pescar sobre os rochedos, nadar na piscina oceânica natural ou aproveitar a pequenina praia junto ao ilhéu.

Das Ferienhaus liegt im kleinen Dorf Joao Bom. Der Ort liegt in einer der abwechslungsreichsten Gegenden der Insel, ca. 5 km vom Badeort Mosteiros und in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Caldeira Sete Cidades. Im Ort in ca. 250 m Entfernung befindet sich ein kleiner Minimercado mit Café. Das Haus liegt direkt am Wanderweg zur Steilküste nach Mosteiros und zur Caldeira Sete Cidades. Die Lage bietet einen landschaftlich schönen und ruhigen Ausgangspunkt um den Rest der Insel zu erkunden.

Located in Fajã de Baixo, about 4 km from Ponta Delgada city center, it offers a peaceful and authentic setting. Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and may be adjusted subject to availability. Please let us know your expected arrival time in Ponta Delgada so we can arrange check-in. We recommend renting a car.
