Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

RJ’s on Okahu

Keep it simple at this peaceful and central location in a rural setting only minutes to town & 15 mins to Ahipara. The sleepout is attached to our garage behind our house. A studio design, it has a small fridge, microwave, jug & toaster, cutlery and crockery. The bathroom has a shower, vanity & toilet. There is a Queen bed & a large couch which can be made up to accommodate a 3rd person if needed. We have 2 dogs which we will contain and a cat.

Tree House self contained apartment. Enjoy the native bush surroundings and sea views from the deck. Fully equipped kitchen for self catering, ensuite, king size bed, beach towels, BBQ. Wake up to the bird song. Easy walking distance to town centre. We do not allow children to stay.

The Little House

The Little House is a small, cosy, cottage in the quite, rural area of Purua ,just 30 min from Whangarei CBD, being surrounded by nature, farm animals and wildlife such as Kiwi Birds and Morepork which you can hear every night, creates a scenic and comfortable stay.
