The casita is semi-private, perched on a hill overlooking our home and is next to a building that is used as an office during the week. Only 24 minutes from Santa Fe, here you can get a taste of country life, in a rustic and rural environment, and you'll still be able to explore the wonders of Santa Fe!

The private lakes are beautiful for walking around, unfortunately guests of the air BNB are not allowed to fish or swim in the private lakes, due to insurance and liability issues for the land owners association.

Tucked into the pines on over four acres of land bordering the Santa Fe National Forest, the Serene 70s Retreat is a quiet mountain getaway built in 1973 and still carrying the soul of that slower, softer era. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful hideaway. Very private, you will have 2 acres to yourself, the owners are NOT on the property. Spend the evening star gazing on the balcony, or roasting marshmallows on the open fire pit. There is also Wi-Fi and two televisions for those who would rather relax indoors. We remodeled the cabin recently, so it is ready for your family’s adventures. During winter months, 4x4 or AWD vehicle may be necessary, due to snow.

Perfect for a family vacation or for wondering souls hoping to find a place to decompress from life. *Ojo caliente spa IS accepting walk in’s for soaking and I was told it’s rarely at capacity so if you are hoping to soak it’s almost assured to happen :)
