An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Only 700m from the Woodend main street you can leave the car behind to enjoy the delights of this tourist hotspot on foot or take the car to explore Hanging Rock, Mt Macedon, Daylesford and Macedon Ranges. Beautiful walks directly opposite and your own private bungalow to return to. Our cosy Bungalow is perfect for couples or a single person and we are usually ok with 1 visiting pet (if cat and dog friendly) We have a Border Collie and 2 cats so let us know if we need to keep them contained.

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes drive from historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Set on an historic one-of-a-kind 1000 acre property in the Macedon Ranges, this charming cottage will provide the ultimate escape. The cottage is away from the workings of the day to day farm, with its own garden, so there is a feeling of privacy. It has a cosy wood fire, reverse-cycle aircon, Netflix, queen beds in both bedrooms and an additional single bed. The gorgeous setting lends itself to enjoying a morning coffee or dining alfesco while taking in the beautiful landscape.

"The Cowboy Cabin"

My cabin is close to great views, restaurants, and family-friendly activities. It is self contained and sixty metres from main house, set on 3 acres where complete privacy is assured. Suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and is pet friendly. Situated in a small hamlet, the views are out to the Ranges and Hanging Rock. Roosters crow in the mornings, and sheep graze just over the fence. Oil heater and electric blankets keep things snug and cozy through winter.

Fryers Hut

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. Excellent walking and mountain bike riding are at your doorstep or just relax at the hut and enjoy the garden, pool and sauna. In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.
