Menzies Cottage

Menzies Cottage is an hour east of Melbourne & set high on a mountain-side in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Enjoy views out to the Wellington Road farmlands & Cardinia Reservoir. On a clear day you can see Arthur’s Seat, Port Phillip & Westernport Bays. Visit nearby Puffing Billy Steam Train, go bushwalking, feed the friendly farm animals or settle-in for a lazy afternoon before watching the sun set. The cottage is fully self contained & with your own private entrance, deck & enclosed garden.

Clare Cottage

Located in Sassafras, Clare Cottage is the perfect forest retreat for exploring the Dandenong Ranges. Relax in the giant spa bath or read a book on the back deck overlooking the tree ferns. Our spacious 2-bedroom, self-contained guest suite, located directly behind our house, is a "home away from home." You will have your own private entrance, with a path leading up the side of the house to your front sliding door. The off-street parking is very convenient, and you will find all the comforts you need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay in Knox. This guest suite, with blinds in every room, is in a quiet residential area and parties and gatherings are not permitted.

We offer private forest views within walking distance to the Sassafras-Monbulk hiking trail. Great spot to take time out and plan some local adventures. Perfect for couples, though we do offer a second fold-out bed for a third adult or child and can provide a single sized bed for a second child on request.
