The area offers many beautiful hiking trails through the unique mountains with jaw-dropping landscapes and is perfect to use as base camp and while hiking the area for few days. Frá okkur er hægt að fara fjölda dagleiða, inn á hálendi s.s. Askja, Herðubreið, Kverkfjöll, Kárahnjúkastífla eða á Borgarfjörð, Seyðisfjörð, Mjóafjörð, Dettifoss og fleira.
