I had the most wonderful stay at Bliss Cabin, to say the least. From the initial photos of the writing desk and yoga deck, to the curious graveled path winding around the property lined with life and decorative details, I was totally immersed in the love and care that was so palpably present! Kathryn & Luke were absolutely lovely, so helpful, and incredibly accommodating! My recommendations while on the property: build and tend to a fire. Journal at the writing desk while playing Miles Davis. Take an early cold plunge in the river, do a round of Wim Hof breathing, then run up to take a hot shower at their beautiful abode. Chat with Luke, have tea with Kathryn. Do yoga on the deck. Say hello to the frogs. Express your inner musician with their drums and sound bowls. Let your soul free here!

We had 6 adults and 2 children visiting the area for a family funeral in Patrick Springs, VA. Martinsville was nearest larger city but hotel rooms as pricey per night as this rental and we were all together and 15 minutes closer. Was the perfect 4 bed and 3 bath home for us to enjoy our time together and Bessie was awesome. Thank you!

We had such an amazing experience here. It was exactly as described and Ezekiel was kind, responsive, and very helpful throughout our stay. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed using the hot tub as well. Everything was perfect for our anniversary weekend. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and will most definitely be returning.

Absolutely beautiful cabin and land. If you are looking for a very private get-a-way cabin, look no further. We did have power issues due to a winter storm, but Katherine was extremely responsive and helpful in working with us through everything. We will definitely be booking this in the future!

The land around the cabin was gorgeous, a great place for our dogs to run and play. The cabin had a really cool vintage vibe with a wonderful screened in porch that was perfect for reading and relaxing with the calming sounds of nature. The Smith River a great place for fishing was within a 10 minute drive. Would definitely love to make this an annual trip destination.

A home before our home! We stayed for a little over a month. It’s a beautiful location with trails, beautiful wildlife, a pond and creek that was a fan favorite, and a fenced in yard to let the kiddo and dogs run and rove. It had everything you would need and is conveniently in between Floyd and Hillsville AND the Blue Ridge Parkway! Mr. Bailey was friendly, informative, and his dog Rosie is a sweetheart!

These folks run a top-tier stay in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mts. My family enjoyed the getaway, and we soaked up all of the air and sun that we could! Simply put, we are already planning our return next spring. Thank you so much!

We stayed for a week with our 2 pups and loved it! Was very private even though there are 2 houses close there was no one in either during our stay. Extremely secluded and quiet with 0 cell service - exactly what we were looking for! Looking forward to staying again and actually catching some fish! Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions, just prepare it’s a 20+ minute drive to town if you need anything but worth every penny!

Loved this cozy little cabin! We just wanted to have a place to unwind for a couple of days before continuing our long roadtrip and this home was perfect for that. The cabin was very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. Our favorite amenity is the fireplace. Loved the quiet and nature around this location. Light pollution is not bad here so you can easily snuggle on the back deck and stargaze. Rebecca and her team were absolutely fantastic. We had a small issue with the shower and Rebecca was on top of it and took great care of us. Will definitely be checking openings for this location next time we pass through.

Cute little cabin and just what we needed for race weekend.

This is a beautiful place. I can imagine it would be amazing in fall but also if there were snow on the trees. The house is very well appointed. Everything you need and more. Layout is great as well.

Super nice place. We absolutely loved the cabin so much. So clean & felt safe the whole time we were there. Definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in the area.

The views from the cabin are as promised and as shown in the pictures, which was the primary reason we rented here. The cabin was also clean and comfortable. Overall, a great stay!
