We really enjoyed staying here! We loved the open space and the comfortable couch and chairs which was great for hanging out and watching movies. There were towels provided for the hot tub and that was very convenient. The hot tub was super clean and in a very private area. We loved having the whole outdoor area to ourselves! The host provided muffins, which was such a nice treat. The kitchen was set up nicely and made it easy to cook several meals there. We loved the log cabin feel! Everything was just lovely for our cousin's weekend, and we would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!

Had an “emergency” booking at the last minute and asked if it was possible to get access early. The hosts responded so quickly and were so accommodating to our request. The place was great with a nice “hangout” area and huge bedrooms. It’s a beautiful view and the hot tub is nice and warm and close to the house. Easy to find and nice and close to the cities but far enough to feel like a vacation!

Our family had a mini getaway and it was the perfect spot! The sauna and hot tub were incredible! The kids LOVED the theater room. Such a great place for families. Thank you for being a great host!

Sunset Cottage is the perfect weekend getaway place! We loved the West facing lake view for the amazing sunset each night, time in the hot tub each morning/evening, and enjoying the cozy cottage vibes. The town of Amery is great too, lots of restaurants, shops, and trails. Marjorie was also super helpful for everything we needed. We can’t wait to be back.

We had an excellent time! Being right on the water is such a treat, even in winter. The hot tub and comfy beds were definitely highlights!

I was very impressed with the place by the lake very nice Sadie is a great person and had the opportunity to meet her at the venue that my son was having his wedding reception. We are already planning our next visit. Also the Hot Tub was ready to go when we got there Thanks John

Absolutely beautiful property. Fresh linens, great coffee, fire wood available , easy WiFi, clean hot tub, plenty of game options and a very bright natural light offered. Super private location close to Siren. Lock code issue was resolved within 10 minutes. Joni’s communication was really good. She agreed to a late checkout which I appreciated. Would definitely stay again, but a bit pricy for this time of year (March) on a lake. With that said, it was still pretty awesome experience.

Entry code did not work and it was Sunday night and about 10 degees when I arrived. Thankfully, host was responsive and I was in within a few minutes!

I had such a wonderful stay! From the very beginning, the hosts were very communicative and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. They went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The location was peaceful and had a beautiful view of the lake - perfect for sunset watching. I’d highly recommend to anyone due to the peaceful feel to the cabin and great hosts.

Saved us until we went to Walmart. Just a 15 minute drive Hot efficient oven and great stovetop Seasonings, salt pepper and more Noticed a blender and maybe a spiralizer which we didn’t use but someone could put to good use! Fancy auto open garbage can Even a snack drawer with assorted chips Clean clean clean! Tv already had a guest account for Netflix and Prime TV ready to use 2 night stands with lights! This seems like an odd perk to add but too often there’s only one nightstand and sometimes not even a light on the stand. Great spot for a getaway.

We stayed at Jeff’s place for a relaxing getaway with our family. It was so peaceful and quiet, tons of wild birds to watch, great areas around the property to explore, and the sauna by the lake was absolute perfection. The beds were comfortable and we were able to cook all of our meals in the kitchen with the provided Cooking supplies. 10 out of 10 would recommend and have already sent the listing to several friends and family to stay at

If you are looking for a bit of magic on the lakefront this is the location for you! Our family enjoyed a long weekend away at The Owl’s Nest with our dogs and we had a wonderful time! Jami and Jay were amazing hosts! So welcoming and answered any questions we had right away. There was a handwritten note welcoming us upon our arrival. The home is cozy, comfortable and super clean! We loved the wood stove in the living room for the crisp Fall nights while listening to music. The screened in porch was perfect for enjoying a hot mug of coffee and watching the sunrise while listening to the calls of Bald Eagles and Loons. The basement was perfect for watching a movie, playing darts or reading a book in the comfy leather sofa. We enjoyed the canoe and kayak on our last day there. The sand beach was perfect for our dogs to explore and rest in the sunshine. Thank you for an awesome experience at your beautiful property! We will definitely be back!!

The cabin is a great spot for whatever your trip needs may be. The hosts were extremely responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared that we had a great time. The lake is great and the experience is relaxing. We would definitely stay here again in future, 10/10!

It was a perfect family trip, thanks to this Airbnb. The place had everything we needed, along with a beautiful view of the Rum River. The campfire and stargazing at night were truly memorable. The host was very responsive and super kind, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely visit again!

We loved this peaceful cabin on the lake. It had a beautiful view and was very quiet. The kitchen had every utensil needed to cook which was awesome. The cabin was very clean and the sleeping accommodations were great! We would definitely recommend this place to others and stay here again!

Wow! The pictures don’t do this gem justice! The attention to detail was above and beyond. The place was well stocked, immaculately clean, and very comfortable beds/bedding. We stayed here for a small work intensive and the space was perfect for small group conversations with the many seating areas. We enjoyed walking/hiking in the area too! No corners were cut on making this an amazing place to stay. Highly recommend!

Can't beat the location of this place, it's a getaway not far from Interstate State Park, Banning State Park and other hiking. We stayed for a weekend and got a couple hikes in, spent some time in Pine City and St Croix Falls and this place was the perfect landing pad for some not-too-far northern adventures. The hosts were very communicative and professional.

Really amazing stay at a rustic and sweet spot on a lake. Sun room is out of this world, it’s on an amazing lot on the lake, and between sauna, paddle boards, fire pit, and just taking it all in we had an amazing time. 10/10, Great Lake get away, hosts are doing great.

We loved staying at Chris’s place. We came in to town to see family and enjoy the snow. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate and we only saw a small amount of snow the evening we arrived. But what can ya do?! Chris was incredibly responsive and attentive, even checking in with us the next morning as we had let him know we’d be arriving late on our check in day. The house was adorable and comfortable, we look forward to renting in the future when we come up to see family.

We stayed over Christmas and were gone at our family gatherings both days, but this cabin was a wonderful place to return to—we slept comfortably each night and slept in. Our adult daughters brought their ice-skates and enjoyed the cleared space the host made on the lake. We talked about adding a few nights if we stayed again so we could enjoy the space more. I’ve already shared this place with our family that are local to that area and would highly recommend.
