Anu's Barn was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. Its private location was ideal for a relaxing get-away and we enjoyed the hot tub in the garden, even when it was raining. We had our two medium-sized dogs with us and they had a lovely time walking in Pepper Wood and in the field at the back of the property which they could access themselves from the garden. Anu was very responsive. She and her husband attended to a few of our requests extremely promptly. We would also highly recommend The Gate (Tex Mex pub) which is withing walking distance for great, reasonably priced food. We would definitely consider staying again if we come back to the area.

Really enjoyed our stay here, remote place and a lot of privacy. Cabin was very nicely decorated, really loved the Easter theme. Host was lovely and really made sure we knew what to do and where to go

The Barley Country Lodge with hot tub

Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

A very pleasant stay for a few nights, but could have certainly stayed longer. A very private and peaceful place to stay as a base for exploring the area. Very friendly host and comfortable accommodation. Thanks for a great visit.

What a great stay- myself and my bachelorette group stayed here for the weekend and it was beautiful. Very close to local shops and food. Easy to get an uber to the bars. And the host left the most beautiful flowers for our arrival. Very happy with our stay here.

Just arrived back from an overnight stay here, everything was perfect. The stay exceeded expectations and was even better than the pictures advertised. Absolutely spotless & well equipped with everything you needed. Check in was simple and the host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend to friends & would book again! Excellent. Had everything we could need. Plenty of towels and blankets. Lots of storage space. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice bathroom and shower. A proper little apartment really. Marie was always responsive and made sure we had everything. Our stay was brief but we certainly enjoyed it.

Alex was a lovely host! The grain store is a private and beautifully decorated place with everything you need provided. Alex welcomed us to the place and showed us around, recommending things near by for us to check out. Will definitely be coming back again!
