Bring the whole family to our cabin with lots of room for fun. This cabin sleeps eight people very comfortably. This cabin is located just outside the main entrance of the Fairy Stone State Park in a very quiet and safe cabin community with private roads, take a stroll or let the Kids ride there bikes while you enjoy a relaxing vacation! There is lots to do within a short drive from the cabin, from fishing to shopping and dinning in nearby towns, Vineyard tours and wine tasting, and much more.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. It is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, alpaca, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch looking out over the landscape and do nothing.
