Pilot Cove offered my family of 4 (plus dog) a wonderful experience at the doorstep to Pisgah and Brevard. Loved being close to the Hub and the food and coffee truck at the bottom of the hill were great. I enjoyed drinking an Americano from the coffee truck on my way into the Forest or after a long trail run on the Art Loeb trail. The walking trails on the property were the perfect place to walk the dog (though several downed trees cross the path). The house was simple but fit ours needs as we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall we loved Pilot Cove and will be back!

Cute little cabin in a peaceful spot just outside of Pisgah National Forrest. Close to delicious food trucks and even downtown Brevard. We were able to rest and enjoy equally with this stay.

This year was the second year my group and I stayed with Lake Norris Chalets. They were completely painless to work with both years and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Their homes are precisely as described in the descriptions. One huge perk about renting with Lake Norris Chalets, if you are in one of their homes with a dock, and you rent a boat from them they will deliver the boat to the home, fueled up and ready to go. This is a great service that frees up a lot of time you would spend going to the marina, filling out all the paperwork and getting the boat back to your place. I would recommend Lake Norris Chalets time and time again for anyone looking to have a great weekend on the lake!

The Pilot Cove cabin was a wonderful spot; we visited the Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville! I highly recommend this lovely location!

Wow, a great place where you can become one with nature. You find yourself immersed in taking in the views morning, noon, and night. Pilot Cove is a peaceful community and had feel of a place tucked well into the mountains but just on the edge of town. A true favorite!

My husband and I recently stayed at Pilot Cove, seeking some much-needed relaxation and a chance to connect with nature. This retreat was everything we hoped for and more. The room was incredibly comfortable, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay truly rejuvenating. One of the highlights of our stay was the fully equipped kitchen. It was fantastic to have the option to cook our own meals, which not only added a homey feel to our stay but also helped us save money on dining out. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was a wonderful surprise. While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the floors needed a good vacuuming. However, these were minor issues in the grand scheme of things. Overall, Pilot Cove provided us with a perfect getaway. We left feeling relaxed and reconnected with nature. We will definitely be returning and recommend it to others.

Was upset at first because they informed us the day of our arrival that the hottub broke but they were very caring and accommodated us for it and took action to fix it right away. The only thing is make sure you bring extra supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. as they only supply one of each. Also lots of geese droppings walking down to water but goes with being on a lake. Make sure you check your GPS settings so it doesn't take you backroads, learned that one. No garage so vehicle gets very hot, sunshade helps and deck is hot, no umbrella for shade to sit out at table. Overall beautiful place and Gunner was pleasant and pleasure to deal with any issues we had.

Lirio Woods was a great stay for my boyfriend and me! We appreciated the little details (i.e., pre-filled ice cube trays, laundry basket, room heaters, dryer balls for your down jackets, extra/sorted firewood, recycling bins, marked/lit parking space, etc.) that made the trip more comfortable and convenient. There were lots of helpful info cards for the amenities. The fireplace was already set up the night we checked into the stay. Although it only has a kitchenette, there were enough appliances and kitchenware to make meals and reheat leftovers--induction burner and toaster oven came in handy. The place was in a quiet location away from road noise but easy to venture into nearby towns. Thank you so much, Katie, for hosting us! We appreciated your excellent/efficient communication during our stay. Highly recommend staying at Lirio Woods!

We loved staying at Beech Sweet! It’s a small space, but it’s a cute place to stay right in the mountains, with just stunning views in a beautiful area. John and Erin were amazing, helpful, and understanding hosts. The suite was perfect for our stay, and we particularly loved spending evenings in the pool area or on the porch, enjoying the sunset over a mountain in the distance. So grateful to have stayed here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Aaron’s. The house was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. We appreciated the open layout with our group of 4 adults. The location was about a 10-15 minute drive to great restaurants and breweries. Aaron was a very responsive and flexible host. Highly recommended!

As this was a spontaneous trip for my husband and I, we got lucky to have found it on the app. Someone had cancelled as explained and we booked in the nick of time. Rebecca was beyond friendly and an amazing host. It felt like home away from home. The place is just the most perfect place to reset and ground yourself. Peaceful and quiet. My husband and I are already making plans as this will be our go to for us when we want some peace and quiet in our chaotic life. Rebecca thank you so much! We truly appreciated your place! Fantastic House at Lake James! You will be hard pressed to find a more spectacular view. the house sits near the top of a hill overlooking the lake. The view is amazing, and lots to do in the local area. Andrew was a great host, very proactive and everything was just as he said it would be! The house has a boat dock, great for anyone bringing or renting a boat. The stairs up and down to the dock are a journey for most of the homes on Lake James, but they are worth the effort! My family loved the home and the area, I hope we will be back!

We wanted to check out Clemson University for our daughter and have a holiday getaway for our family of 4. This place was perfect! The interior of the house is very fresh & nice…exactly what you see in the photos. Since we were there in the winter & the weather wasn’t great, we didn’t get to hang out outside as much as we had hoped, but we did sit out under the covered part of the deck when it was raining & walk around a bit when it wasn’t. Beautiful property! The dock is great and that huge side deck & the outdoor kitchen are amazing! If our daughter ends up attending Clemson in a couple years, this will absolutely be our first choice to stay when we visit. Even if she doesn’t, we would love to come back in the summer to everything this place has to offer!

Beautiful home in an even more stunning location. Taking in the sunrises and sunsets was wonderful! Home was the best stocked place we’ve ever stayed. There’s everything you need! Beds were very comfortable. About 5 min drive to town yet feels very secluded. We enjoyed our time! Thanks to Mark for a great stay!

Cherry blossom, Lodge was amazing! The house, the games and the creek/riverare all wonderful! If you’re considering staying in Townsend, this is where you should stay! Meredith, was awesome with her communication, and we will definitely be back to stay!

Staying at Vivian’s house was a pleasure. Everything was clean and worked well. Had no issues while there. A nice deck to sit out on. Has easy access to get to Johnson City and nearby Bristol. I would stay there again and look forward to doing just that.

Perfect location to Beech Mountain resort, past the main part of town so you don’t have to deal with the traffic. Home was perfect-exactly as pictured. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bathrooms were updated and beautiful. My kids loved the place, as did we!

This place is great. It’s centrally located on the south Holston so it’s got great fishing and easy access. The hickory tree market and diner is awesome. Food is great and the people are friendly. The stay is immaculately clean and the appointments in the space are very nice. The bed is super comfortable. Check in is easy, parking is spacious and the outside spaces are great. It’s off the street and reasonably private.

Absolutely LOVED this cozy cabin. It was everything we wanted and needed for a lovely Christmas vacay especially the fireplace. Burned a great fire all day every day during our stay. Highly recommend this private, serene forest oasis and definitely plan to go back.

If you love being right on the water with nature in a perfectly maintained home with everything you need. This is the place. My son and I went for a father-son trip with my longtime childhood friend and his son. Max is a gracious host and very interested in everyone having a great stay. He gave great information about the area and was very detailed with every aspect of the trip. We plan on making this an annual trip to fly fish on the Nantahala. This location checks all the boxes. Beautiful views overlooking the Smokies, Ober Mountian Trams, and downtown Gatlinburg. Easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas. Zack was very responsive with any needs we had throughout our stay. Instructions and recommendations were very thorough, which we were thankful for. Kids had a great time in the game room and hot tub almost every night. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. Would highly recommend staying in this cabin !!
