We stayed at the House by the Locks as part of a family vacation in February 2025 and had a fantastic time. This is a unique heritage home that takes "historic character" to a whole new level. It was beautifully furnished, spacious for our party of 6, spotlessly clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen. We used it as home base for doing winter activities at Algonquin and Arrowhead Provincial Parks, and it was a pleasure to return to at the end of the day. Check-in/out was easy, and the host was friendly and responsive. 10/10. Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful! Check-In and Out were super easy. Ben was very communicative and we appreciated all of the handy information provided. The place itself literally had everything that we would need and it was so neat and tidy. The grill was very clean and easy to use. It was such a private, peaceful getaway, with an amazing view.

Ryan was a great host and the place was beautiful and located in a great location easy to find. We loved the place and would most definitely stay again if needed.

Amazing location to stay in. Pristine accommodations. Super clean, comfortable, spacious, walkable to beach , a marina, walking trails , downtown and many close by restaurants. Paula is an excellent host, she thought of everything for our stay, including info for local attractions and restaurants. All the beds were super comfortable with luxurious bedding, lots of extra blankets for cool nights, very clean bathrooms and loads of available towels. Kitchen was very highly equipped and sparkling. She even thought to have full bird feeders on the premises so we would be entertained by the numerous birds! Paula was a very kind and patient host…. I accidentally left the key at a restaurant and when I called to ask to find another she was very understanding and kind. Great value for our vacation dollars!!!!

We had an amazing stay at Abby’s Place! The property is located in a peaceful and scenic area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Second time staying here at Zach's place. Both of us really enjoyed our stay. It's a nice comfortable little apartment in a good area and it is pet friendly which was perfect for us. Will definitely be back again in the future.

Very cozy and functional space. The unit was very clean and had pretty much everything we needed to prepare an Easter meal. I will definately seek this place for future stays.

Спасибо огромное! Все было отлично! Мы были на машине, для нас все подходило по размещению, месту, парковке (идеально). Прекрасные апартаменты, чисто, ухоженно, есть все необходимое. Хозяйка отвечает очень быстро и помогает разрешить вопросы, удовлетворить нужды. Идеальный туалет и ванная. На кухне чисто и комфортно. Помещение для стирки идеальное, рядом. Чудо жилье! Большая редкость. Минус был небольшой, диван в гостиной имеет неприятный запах (видимо от предыдущих гостей), но в целом он чистый и видно, что за ним ухаживают. И для меня, например, это не критичная проблема, я просто никогда не сажусь на диваны нигде. А вот муж очень любит, ему это не очень понравилось. Но в остальном все отлично, и с кроватью в спальне все идеально. Чисто, ухоженно. Красиво созданный интерьер. Мы очень благодарны за всё. И с удовольствием снова выберем и остановимся именно в этом месте.

Great place to go to when considering a private and quiet place!

This place is absolutely breathtaking, being right on the lake, the view was beautiful from morning to night time. Usman was also an amazing host who responded to all our questions and concerns in timely manner before and during our stay. Could not recommend this host and their place enough. The place was perfect! It had all the kitchen tools we needed, bedding, extra towels, etc. It’s on the rocky crest resort about a 2 minute walk from the main building, pool, hot tub, and lakefront. Four of us stayed in Liana’s place and couldn’t have been happier. She was extremely communicative and was quick to respond on any questions I had prior to arrival. We would definitely stay again!

The unit was beautiful and clean. Lots of room for our family in a beautiful setting. Host was very responsive but we had no issues that required their attention. Check in was a breeze, even on a last minute booking.
