Very close to Golden Gate State Park, 15 minute drive to skiing at Eldora by Nederland or to Black Hawk/Central City with countless hidden (and very public) local hiking trails and National Forest in between. The Bread House in Silver Plume

Stay in a living ghost town! The Bread House is one of the original houses in Silver Plume, dating back to the 1880s. Recently remodeled, it's been brought back to life and we'd love to share it with you. The Bread House is a quiet, two-story house with plenty of space to spread out. It's a perfect respite after a day of skiing, hiking, rafting, or fishing, or just for a cozy getaway. We're located right off I-70 next to Georgetown, about 45 min from Denver, and 10 min to Loveland Ski Area.

Or just soak in the amazing MTN views ! 10-30 minutes and you're in Georgetown, Winter Park, Idaho Springs, Central City, or Silverthorn! In town, you can check out the local sweet shop, Brewery, and Dairy King. Stargaze in your private hot tub or curl up in front of the fire and enjoy a night in!

Enjoy a private getaway for 2 with wood-burning stove (MUST bring firewood), indoor dining/cooking area with 2-burner propane stove (propane provided), sleeping loft, outdoor sitting area with propane gas grill. NO electricity or running water. Outdoor shower stall with two 5-gallon solar heated shower bags. Bring towels. Outhouse nearby. Bring food & ice. Well water provided from spigot at main cabin. Cot available UPON REQUEST in advance - prior arrival. NO CAMPFIRES OR USE OF ANY FIREPITS.

The Cricket- An amazing Tiny House!

The Cricket is a rustic historic cabin in a small neighborhood on Spring Street along side the rushing Clear Creek and nestled among an Aspen grove. The Cricket was built in 1920 and is 360 sq. feet. We have just completed renovations on the Cricket including a new bathroom, interior and exterior painting and extensive yard work. We think you will find our home a peaceful refuge!
