Our family really enjoyed our stay here! It's a spacious unit with a beautiful, sleek interior design and amazing kitchen. The beach and a big playground is nearby as well. The only issue was that the wifi got progressively weaker further into the unit, and the two bedrooms furthest from the living room could not connect at all. Highly recommended for families!

The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Loved the accommodations. Very clean and close to everything you need. Surroundings are beautiful and the pool, hot tub and sauna were a much appreciated addition. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable.

Even better than the pictures. Amazing view, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable king sized bed! The property has wonderful amenities including a restaurant, gym, and spa - but it has a small intimate feel. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to come back to this beautiful spot!

Space matched the photos well. Beautiful location, well appointed space with all the basics covered. We didn’t end up doing any cooking but the kitchen looked like it had everything you’d need to eat in. Conveniently located very close to the elevator, so easy to move in and out.

This is a great place with an amazing view. The hot tub added a romantic touch. Heidi’s instructions made everything so easy. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Meredith’s place is amazing! We absolutely loved our time here. The unit and view are unreal. Everything was very clean and well kept. Meredith was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We were traveling with our 2.5 year old and Meredith has a pack n play and a baby gate in the unit for use which was very handy. Cannot wait to stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We had the best time staying at Barb’s place. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need. The space is extremely private to the point that you almost feel you are on your own private island. The lake is crystal clear and the surroundings are picturesque! We all felt completely at home during our stay and will most definitely be back again!!

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! It was perfect for getting a group together (super spacious!) and the hot tub, sauna, fire pit, two decks, gorgeous bathrooms and stunning views made it truly unforgettable. Honestly, the pictures didn't do it justice, it felt bigger and more beautiful inside. Would recommend completely and would love to go back some day!

Ashley was an amazing host, we loved her house and how welcomed we felt. When we do come back I hope it's not booked up for the summer because this house is a gem of a place and not to mention the million dollar view. Thank you so much and hope to see you again on the near feature.

The place and location was amazing. Everything was perfect. The outside eating area with BBQ was better than expected/realized. The entire place looked newly renovated. The bay was great - just plan your water activities there according to the tide, because at low tide there is no water. Great location travelling to Madeira Park and Sechelt or beyond. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

We had a wonderful relaxing family vacation at Libby’s place. The home was very comfortable. The views were stunning! Great place to stay.

We were four adults in need of a brain break—not just from life’s stressors, but from an uncertain world—along with a child who had a beachfront home on their bucket list. While we couldn’t afford the latter, we made it happen for one weekend, and it did not disappoint. Bowen Island is an oasis, but Bluewater Retreat was the main attraction. Though we explored the island, we spent most of our time enjoying this beautiful home. High ceilings and large windows welcomed nature and sea views, clearing the mind and rejuvenating the spirit. The minimalist décor and comfortable furnishings, especially the beds, promised restful sleep in the serene quiet, away from city lights. How we wished it was our home away from home! Immaculately clean, with luxury essentials, flawless Wi-Fi, and a kitchen stocked with equipment for gourmet meals, our four days flew by in a blur of relaxation. A special thanks to our gracious host, Cassidy, for an unforgettable Easter weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

great location and value . It's close to everything in lower Gibsons. The hosts took me in on short notice too. Will stay again if it's available!

Stunning views. It rained the whole time we were there but the views were still worth it. Very friendly host.

A second great stay at Lilian's. It was spotlessly clean on arrival as always and we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen again. We even had dinner at the Pacific Moon Rising Restaurant on site this time and had a great meal. We will be back!

The Strands was a beautiful place to do a little sister trip with our little babies. It was peaceful and it was so nice being so close to the beach and the amenities of the resort available. The unit itself was amazing. It was so well decorated and beautifully designed. Everything was very well thought out and we felt really comfortable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone!

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

Great and peaceful space, nice and quiet in October. Kids friendly 🤸🏻‍♀️amazing facilities at the resort too. Lovely bedrooms. Awesome view of the creek and tides. We can't wait to return again!

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!

Isaac was so thoughtful, when I inquired about a pack n play he said he’d buy one for us! He’s invested in making this place great for families and it shows! The setting is wonderful, so close to the amazing beach and nestled in a beautiful woodsy spot. The place was great - very clean and had everything we could need. The beach toys and gear was the cherry on top!
