Chalets in Girdwood, Anchorage

Our stay at Caroline's place was wonderful. Caroline was communicative, provided things to do in the area and was flexible. She even worked with us on our check out because we had unique needs. Honestly, one of the best hosts we've had using AirBNB. She also helped the previous guests obtain their forgotten teddy bear while I was visiting. The cabin was clean, in a quietish neighborhood, and just want we needed during our stay in Girdwood. Everything was great from the Alaskan food items in the fridge on arrival to the bear safety items and educational materials. I hope to be back in the area and would love to stay at Caroline's again.

Simon's place is such a gem and Simon is a wonderful host. We love staying there and walking right up to the ski lift!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Danielle’s A-frame in Girdwood! The cozy space had so many thoughtful touches. Our kids especially loved the spiral staircase, the outdoor area, and the great selection of DVDs. We really appreciated being within walking distance to the brewery, and the king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable. A perfect spot for a relaxing and fun family getaway!

My group enjoyed this location and place on our trip to Girdwood. The home is spacious, clean, and has all the amenities that you need for a weekend getaway. The main bedroom with the king bed is a spacious suite. The queen room is standard in a good way and the blackout shade was wonderful. The third room with the swing bed is a bit awkward for an adult, but we made due. The hot tub is a nice addition to the experience after skiing all day. Bring sandals to walk from the house to the tub. It seats three adults comfortably. Getting around town was a learning curve for us. If you drive everywhere it's easy enough, but if you prefer to walk or ride transit it can take some time. Overall, I highly recommend this house for a ski trip.

Would book again! The house fit our family of 8 with much room to spare! Furniture was super comfy (loved the TV/Rec room). The house is within walking distance of surprisingly lively downtown Girdwood and "next door" to a brewery (although you'd never know it from inside the beautiful property. There's a trailhead to a creek/waterfall down the street. Audrey had amazing recommendations and was super responsive and helpful.

We loved every minute of our stay at Julie’s Airbnb while in town for a family wedding! The space was gorgeous, clean, and exactly as pictured. The location was perfectly walkable to the ski resort, Girdwood Brewing, the Mercantile, and trails. We hope to return soon!

We had a great stay! Everything was as advertised- great spot to stay walking distance to the upper lot at Alyeska and, more importantly, Girdwood Brewing. The hot tub was a great addendum and there were plenty of blankets/sheets/towels.

Great space! Super clean and great place to relax and unwind for a while. We had an awesome time and even got to see the northern lights from the backyard. Just as pictured.

Amazing, unique home. In the trees with an indoor hot tub😊. Doesn’t get much better than that. Perfect for our multigenerational family. Grandparents, parents and grandkids. Great for cooking. Had everything you needed. Close to ski slopes, alyeska spa and restaurant in winter, hiking in summer. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Comptons Forest Chalet

An excellent stay at “Ketchum Chalet”. A great design, and a very convenient location close to Alyeska’s lifts. Matt was a wonderful host and we hope to return in the future.
