Its remote location, 6 minutes drive above the town of Oregon House, is an ideal spot for a getaway. With the entire apartment to yourself it can be a perfect retreat, a romantic weekend, or a quiet work/study space. A place to relax, meditate, read and feel a world away from everyday concerns. We're having gorgeous summer weather here in Amador County! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If you're visiting both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe on your travel journeys, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 and 1/2 from Tahoe)

Only a 10-minute walk to downtown, historic Placerville, with its variety of ethnic restaurants/bars, quaint shopping, art studio’s, live local music, microbreweries & even a local yoga studio. Close to lovely historic parks, & 15 minutes from several nearby wineries, amid the El Dorado foothills wine country. Enjoy river rafting, hiking trails & consider visiting the local lakes, rivers or a casual, 55-minute drive to Lake Tahoe for the day!

Majestic View Retreat, Nevada City

Enjoy the view of the snow capped Sierras while soaking in the hot tub, reading on the private porch, or sitting next to the cozy fireplace indoors. Private, secluded Guest Suite with private entrance. A new kitchenette has been added for convenient cooking. Play a game of shuffleboard or sip a glass of wine while sitting by the outdoor fire pit. Our home is nestled under a canopy of conifers next door to the Tahoe National Forest and only a 5 minutes drive to downtown Nevada City.

For those looking for adventure drive 8 min to explore Mercer Caverns, 25 min to Big Trees State Park for beautiful hikes, or ski/snowboard 45 min away at Bear Valley Mountain Resort. Enjoy a comfortable, clean, and convenient stay with a modern bathroom, open style space, and all the creature comforts to make your stay a relaxing one!

Ranch Guest Suite

Peaceful, quiet and private guest house on 20 acres near the town of Penn Valley in Nevada County, California. Our place has a remote feel but is only 25 minutes from Grass Valley. This is the place to relax, be in nature and/or visit the nearby historic towns of Grass Valley, Nevada City, Ananda Village, the West Coast Falconry, and numerous wineries. Do note that this guest house does NOT have a kitchen, only a small frig and a microwave and a hot plate on request.

The East Sac Hive, Guest Studio

The East Sac Hive guest studio is in the center of Sacramento’s finest neighborhood built in the 1920’s, and we are proud to share our city with you. Our studio is quaint and cozy, but offers all of the amenities you would expect in a comfortable space. The micro studio is about 230 square feet and the perfect size for two adults or an adult and child. Maybe you'll even get to see the buzzing activity of our urban bee hive on the roof!

Studio in Beautiful Sonora, Private &SelfContained

This self contained space is part of our home, but is a separate building right next to the house. There's a well lit hallway to your private entrance. It's one large room with an enclosed bathroom. There's a shower, toilet and vanity. No tub. There's a queen size bed, 6' couch, dining table/chairs and fridge. You can BBQ and use the patio table. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and starry nights from comfy seats on the deck.

Sierra Foothills River Retreat

Enjoy a private guest suite on the Mokelumne river with no cleaning fees and a hassle free stay. Fall asleep to the sound of the river. Sit on 1 of 3 decks to enjoy the scenic views and watch the wildlife. Walk in the river, go fishing, pan for gold. The lower deck on the river has a hammock & 2 person swing. Visit Silver lake, Kirkwood, Big Trees Nat. Park or Lake Tahoe. Go wine tasting, antiquing or hiking.
