A great house in the country and a large 2 acre yard with a creek that runs beside it. Animals are not permitted in the house but there is a separate outside kennel or the attached garage that one can be kept if you choose. It is within 5 minutes of town with a lot of great places to eat or shop the nostalgic downtown area. It is about an hour from down town Chicago. The basement, the 40’x80’ pole barn and the driveway to it is not accessible to guests, it is an active works

It was originally a coal mining town and now a fisherman's paradise with many lakes here for fishing. The Godley Park District is a great place for kids and adults to play with farm animals and a dog park just a block away from the Cottage.
