On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Our beautiful spacious cottage has everything you need and a perfect home from home to relax and unwind with family and friends. Nestling in the quaint village of Gosforth; with a mixture of mountains, lakes and coastal beaches all within a short drive in a less touristy but equally stunning part of the Lake District National Park. With numerous tourist attractions nearby, you're spoiled for choice. Pet friendly country pubs, café and bakery all within walking distance.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
