Great place to stay for couples! You get private cottages away from other cottages there, the location was super easy to find, checking in & out is super simple, and everything is clean. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway from the busy city.

We loved our stay in Conifer Cottage. I particularly loved sitting on the porch and watching the birds and rabbits.

We had a fabulous time at Felixa and James holiday house with our 2 kids (3 and 6). We loved exploring the crystal clear river, the hot tub, the nearby wineries/pub/parks. Theres a host of kids books, coloring, boardgames, outdoor toys. The place is spotless! Felixa is super responsiveness and friendly cant wait to book again!

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. We stayed as a group of 6, including our 3 year old son and there was truly something for everyone. We enjoyed looking out the window in the morning and exploring the property and surrounds looking for native wildlife. The house has truly everything you could need, and we loved having the kitchen there so we could eat our meals at home and enjoy the property for even longer. Kathryn was a wonderful host who was always only a message away, and the recommendations left at the property gave us some great ideas on how to spend our time in the area. We’ve already spoken about plans on when we can come back to visit, as our 3 year old asked if he could live there forever. Thank you for having us!

What a lovely little cabin! We had a great time staying on Amanda and Rob's property, surrounded by nature (including the adorable rescue creatures and geese), enjoying the quiet and star-gazing. The cabin is very compact but has everything you could need, including a very well fitted-out kitchen (the Soda Stream was a particular highlight). Amanda and Rob are so friendly and accommodating - we loved hearing their stories about building their forever home up on the hill and all their animal-rescue tales. Highly recommended.

Susan's place was exactly what we were looking for for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. It's close enough for an easy drive, lovely scenery, and a very comfortable place to stay. Lancefield was the closest town which had all of the the food and restaurant options we could use. The bed was fantastic, and there were extra blankets, towels, and enough cutlery and crockery for a couple of people on a weekend away. We had tea, coffee, and very kindly some fruit and biscuits for us on arrival which made it feel right at home. The property is listed as pet friendly, and it's so well organised for the pup that we had everything at hand that we needed including towels to keep her dry when it was raining outside. The hot tub was great, and although the weather wasn't fantastic, it was lovely to spend the evening in. I could go on, but if you're reading this, and need a short stay away in the country this is the place to be.

Beautiful location that we and our dog loved. So peaceful and relaxing - the perfect way to escape the city for a couple of days. And the cottage itself was super cute but had everything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay, easy to find, private cabins and so close to so many attractions. Anne and Maurie are great, friendly and helpful hosts. We all loved the farm tour and there is so much to do on the farm and close by. We will definitely be back, already planning our next stay.

This house is absolutely amazing! Extremely spacious both indoors and outdoors. Fantastic location very easy to get around. A thoughtful gift was left upon our arrival making this stay a step above the rest, I would highly recommend especially for larger groups. Thanks Leigh and the team

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was perfectly fitted with everything you need. Qe felt so at home and relaxed the whole time. Beautiful views no matter where you looked. The kitchen was well equipped, we whipped up a few lovely meals while eating on the balcony. Our daughter loved all the toys, games, swing and trampoline. We even got to see a wallaby! We found Malcolm & Hanna's place a great place to recharge the batteries. Lots of greenery out the windows, clucking chickens gifting us daily fresh eggs, a cosy fire on a comfie couch... we were very happy, and most importantly Rosie our doggo was in heaven exploring the grounds and playing with resident doggos. Hosts were super responsive. Nice people with nice pets.

Everything about Kristy’s place was as good if not better than we expected. From the moment that we made the reservation to the time that we checked out everything was wonderful!! The instructions for our late arrival were easy to follow and the cabin was neat, clean and exactly what we were hoping for after a long late night drive together there. I highly recommend staying at Kristy’s place and will definitely go back whenever we are driving through the area!!

The most perfect weekend for two couples, the place had everything you needed, books, DVD’s, games, wood for the fire. Beautiful surroundings and nature walks everywhere, we drove 20 minutes to explore Mt Baw Baw which was great also. The bath was also a standout! With candles and bath salts, they have thought out so much and it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind, and the beautiful birds that visit the deck are so sweet to hear and see. Kitchen amenities are great, we cooked up all our meals together.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Trevor’s log cabin. Such a peaceful place, sitting on the verandah and just letting the serenity wash over you was exactly what we needed. Trevor is an exceptional host, there is absolutely nothing you would want for whilst staying here. Breakfast supplies, full fruit bowl, all the condiments and a great kitchen set up -made for an easy stay here. Fully fenced yard for our dog, beautiful walks down by the river to fish, a truly wonderful stay. Trevor was awesome at communicating and we would love to return again and again.

A beautiful estate loved the gardens & the cottage was adorable. We enjoyed our night with our dog who felt like a king! We will recommend and if we are in the area again will come back for longer! Thank you Sharnie we loved reading about the heritage of Craignair house.

Anna’s stay was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent and the lodging is extremely cosy. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are good enough that you don’t need to bring your own. Anna had set up the fire by the time we arrived in preparation for the cold the next day. The cabin is very close to the main house, although frosted windows on that wall and tree coverage create an effective screen.

Comfortable and cosy home for a two night getaway for 3 gals from the city needing some fresh air. Very pretty property and the cutest little house. Could have stayed so much longer! Highly recommend.

Staying with Keren and Gwyn was very relaxed and beautiful. They are very kind, helpful and accomodating. The kitchen is well equipped and breakfast food provided according to your needs. The garden in which one sits on the balcony is peaceful, and as I was there for more than 4 weeks I was permitted to use the washing machine and ironing board. It was nice chatting to Keren, when we happened to see each other, but each of us had their privacy too. I had a great time living there and am already considering to book again for next year.

Brilliant stay at Sambar Hills. Sally was great and we hit up the Chrismont Winery which was the best winery we’ve been to. Highly recommend, will be coming back.

It really is a magical place, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. In addition, it is close to Mount Buller, which is ideal for the snow season. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect, even much more beautiful than in the photos. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it 100%.

We had a great stay at Marty's beyond beautiful property. Marty is a generous host, very organised and it shows in his attention to the smallest details. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is well above standard, and the sunrise the view is idyllic. We managed to see the very friendly goats and Alpacas and even some saw some wombats from the cabin. We also loved visiting the cheese factory in Milawa, Beechworth and some falls, about 45mins drive. This is a 10 out of five stars stay ✨

Had a wonderful time. Awe inspiring views of the forest and mountains from the cottages private decking. Short drive to beautiful river walks. Very peaceful setting. Gunther was very friendly and responded quickly to messages. 30mbps wifi, 60 Mbps 4G phone reception. Would definitely recommend.
