Privésuites in Great Barrier Reef

This is a great place to stay. It's not in the city centre so you might need a car, which we had. It's quiet, comfortable and well equipped. This is our second stay and it will be the first place we will look at whenever we are visiting our family in Cairns.

Peter's place was a brilliant space for our last night in Cairns, air conditioned and with a pool and room for all of us.

Sehr tolles Apartment. Der Blick ist der Wahnsinn. Insgesamt war alles nötige vorhanden und tolle Tipps in der Wohnung für Restaurants etc. Der Weg hinauf ist unglaublich steil, aber wenn man einigermaßen fit ist gut machbar. Mit Gepäck muss man Taxi oder Uber nehmen. Vielen dank!

A lovely house in a great area! Out of the city centre of Cairns but still very easy to grab a 20 minute bus to town. Great cafés, bakeries and the beautiful botanical gardens in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We loved our stay here, the place has everything you could need and was super clean and spacious. Karen is a lovely host and extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at Jilly & Geoff's place! Hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure we felt welcome. The property itself was impeccably clean, and equipped with thoughtful touches like umbrella, beach towels and welcome snacks! The location was ideal, close to the town center, yet peaceful for relaxation. We especially appreciated the view from the balcony and waking up with the amazing view from the bed. This stay exceeded all our expectations, and we can't recommend it enough.

We had an incredible stay at Karen & Mark’s home. They were exceptionally hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The location is ideal—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the area. Staying in a traditional Northern Queensland home was such a unique and wonderful experience. The house is clean, and the area is full of character, and gave us a real sense of the local culture. It was well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

Beautiful stay at Wildwood. The cabins are private and surrounded by rainforest and tropical fruit trees. There were some for us to sample in the cabin… a lovely touch. It was amazing listening to the sounds of the forest when falling asleep and waking up to extraordinary bird song. The jungle walk on the property is not to be missed! The cabin is a beautifully designed pole house and very comfortable. We loved not having a TV and totally switched off. The location is close to the Cape Tribulation hub (Turtle Cafe, Ocean Safari Centre, Friendly Grocer) and walking distance to Myall Beach. Mason’s Swimming Hole is 5 min drive away or a longer walk… we went there often). We didn’t want leave and would love to stay again. Staying at Wildwood is a really special experience… highly recommend 🙂🌸

What a lovely place! It was exactly as described. The studio was welcoming with all new furnishings and decorated tastefully. It was perfect for our short stay. It was close to the main town and beach. I would definitely recommend Agnus Studio to anyone wanting a short stay in an amazing location. Thank you Halli and Cohen x

Angela was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire booking process and stay. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend this listing to other travelers. Enjoyed the bottle of Shiraz and Easter chocolate.

Great value for beautiful private room with cooking facilities and Smart TV, perfect mix between homey and peaceful weekend away. Host was very responsive and accommodating which made the process very stress free. The location was 25 minute walk to public transport and 45 minute walk to the beach. Having a hire car was really helpful and almost became better value than getting an uber.

We loved staying here. The place was spotless clean, the best comfortable and in a quite area and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Tania, the host, is very responsive and friendly. We would happily go back!

A quiet, relaxing hideaway in a great location as it was close to everything in Gladstone. Well appointed and clean with everything thing you need, plus things you hadn't thought of! Great hosts, we will stay again😄

Lovely leafy outlook, everything you could need for a short stay. Nice and clean with a great shower and lovely towels which dry you. Also a comfy bed :) thank you for a nice stay.

Very quiet place near town. Nice and neat, good wood furniture and settings. Central to most things in tablelands. Would be number 1 choice when we visit the area again.

I stayed two nights at Wendy’s before having headed down to Agnes Water. The location is perfect being between Yeppoon and Emu park. There is a beach right across from the unit which takes about 2 min walk and I enjoyed the sunrise! The unit is clean, quiet and has everything you need. I highly recommend Wendy’s place!

Simon’s place is a fantastic hidden gem in Cooee Bay. Very close to the beach, and other local cafes and restaurants. The space is exactly as described and very clean, tidy and spacious. A large studio apartment that is very pet friendly and really nice backyard. We loved staying at Simons place and would highly recommend it to anyone interested
