Welcome to Cedarwood Cabin, part of Madawaska River Cottages, four cabins our family rents along Harrison Trail. This one's on two private riverfront acres wrapped in mature trees, with the wood-cabin feel its name suggests. Quiet and cozy. A great spot for slow days and slower mornings. Morning coffee with mist rising off the river, afternoons on the water, evenings by the fire. With the sound of the city gone, only the sound of the river and the wind in the trees is left to lull you to sleep.

Year round trails for hiking, snow shoeing, exploring etc. Beautiful scenery and wildlife in a peaceful, private setting, relax and unwind by the fire! We look forward to having you! Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style. First floor is kitchen and living room area, second floor bedroom and washroom - snow mobile and four wheeler trails near by

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
