Little Haven is an official 28-acre wildlife preserve and family farm 6 miles north of Wimberley. We manage the land for song birds, owls and other raptors. We have horses, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. You are welcome to hike and explore anywhere on the land. The sunsets are amazing, and star gazing is the best in Texas (Wimberley is one of only three certified "Dark Sky" cities in Texas). The Villa at Spotted Sheep Farms, an Italian style 1,800 square foot home with beautiful finishes and a luxurious huge master suite. The property is home to animals and wild life including alpacas, miniature donkeys, and of course, spotted sheep! It’s perfect for a getaway, relaxing, enjoying some of Texas' best wineries, Fredericksburg shopping and the quiet evening in the hot tub.

Our cozy one room cabin is tucked away in a peaceful wooded area, accompanied by the sounds of a running creek just out front. This spot is a great place to relax and unplug from the busyness of life. Enjoy a stroll or hike alongside the creek, plop some chairs in the water and take in the sounds of nature. Kids enjoy exploring, wildlife and roasting marshmallows while snuggling up around a campfire. The experience is much like camping, not to be compared with a hotel.

The Riverwood - A Hill Country retreat!

The Riverwood cabin was built by the property owner (Oso), a direct descendant of Dr. Herff, an early settler to Boerne in the 1850's. The rustic, craftsman-built cabin sits on an 85 acre historic ranch and wildlife preserve, located just 2 miles from downtown Boerne Square. The cabin is a bit quirky, and definitely an experience, yet has all the comforts you will need for a relaxing stay with friends or family! Please read house rules before booking.
