Everything was as pictured and described. Communication quick and clear. Easy access to town and different entertainment. Would stay again and recommend to all!

Great clean place. Looks exactly like the pictures, excellent location and extremely close to the beach. Cottage is very clean and well maintained. Pool was also very clean and the grounds are clean. Easy to find, would absolutely stay again. Only tiny issue is hot tub would only heat to 89 even when set higher. The washer and dryer are a major perk when traveling for a lot of days as a family. Thanks for a great stay!!

Let’s just say the pictures really don’t justify how beautiful this home is !! Super clean & wonderful!! Also bigger than it looks. the property will blow your mind! pool, hot tub , & creek !! Definitely would stay again magnificent host .

Came back for spring break a year later and the place did not disappoint. Our family of five thinks of this home as our home away from home now. Highlights include pool, hot tub, easy walk/run to the gulf, easy bike to the downtown, quiet street, screened in porch for reading, clean and spacious interior. Couldn’t ask for more!!

It was a great stay. Being from the area I k ew the area already and was very pleased.

I appreciate the owner as a host. very responsive and communicated promptly. there were a few minor things that got taken care of right away. the Cornhole game was fun. close to multiple things in Gulfport and surrounding areas. the check in was keyless which was very nice not having to worry about a key. depending on what are needs are for a next visit we would consider staying here again.

We had stayed at The Mermaid Cottage several times. It feels like our home away from home when we are there. The house is always clean and well taken care of. We love the short walk to the beach. We always look forward to staying at The Mermaid Cottage when we are in Mississippi. We hope to return soon.

We stayed there for a week during Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area. It’s a great location easy to get around. I loved being so close to the beach and boardwalk. The cottage was perfect for a cozy beach week in the winter. I’m sure the area is a very busy in the summer but there were several things walking distance and easy drives to make the location convenient during busy season. The cottage is dog friendly, which was a huge plus for us. We will definitely be looking to rebook next year when making our plans.

This cottage is so cute and cozy.....and so close to the beach! Bridgette is a great hostess. When we asked her if we could park our moving van there, she said it would be fine because we came during off season, and she even blocked off a spot for us. I love how the cabins are together with such a charming common area. The only downside was that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other....or go outside and come around to the entry door. I wish we had been able to stay longer and enjoy the firepit and bikes and kayaks. Would love to come back another time!

This place was absolutely perfect for my families extended weekend. Heather was very responsive and accommodating to us. Her home is minutes from the beach, we have turtle visitors each day, and the home was very clean! I would definitely recommend this place to the next guest!

Enjoyed the stay . The location was perfect for us. We walked to local restaurants and downtown during our stay. Rodella's place had everything we needed.

For our family of six plus our dog, this was a sweet place to stay for a long weekend at the beach. We were always able to find parking right at the beach, and the beach was not crowded at all. The beds in the house were comfortable and easily fit the six of us. The neighborhood was fun to take the dog on walks, and my husband and I enjoyed going for a run in the morning. We could easily make our meals, do laundry, and Janie communicated everything clearly!

My wife and I stayed for an extended weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The home was beautiful! And very easy to gain access to with the instructions that Teri provided. It was so clean and comfortable, and very close to everything we wanted to visit. Although most of our time was spent away from home, we found it very comfortable and easy to relax into once we were there. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the Gulf Coast region, and my only wish was that we could’ve stayed longer!

This was a very very nice trip and the cottage was absolutely amazing, nice and cozy and very warming. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that plans on going to Gulfport for a visit.

Great spot in the area!! Easy to access, great parking to unload vehicle. Super clean and in a wonderful spot. The house has everything you need for a great stay.

Had a relaxing time on the beach. I’ve been to the area before so I knew what to expect. It was very easy to walk to the beach close enough that my teens and tweens could walk back and forth in their own. The host was awesome! Kind and responsive and clearly wanted us to enjoy our vacation!

Just as described. Very clean. All around great house in a great location on the river. Not far from the Gulfport Sportsplex if you're traveling to Gulfport for a tournament.
