제가 만난 몽유(夢遊)는 소나무로 골격을 세우고 황토로 벽을 쌓은 고향집을 떠올리게 하는 100년 된 한옥입니다. 우리는 몽유(Dream Play)를 서촌의 웰니스(Wellness) 공간으로 조성하였습니다. 웰니스는 '신체·정신·환경·사회적 건강을 바탕으로 멋진 인생을 디자인해 가는 자기실현'을 뜻합니다. 무언가에 열중하고 삶의 가치를 발견하는 과정도 활력이 넘친다면 웰니스라고 할 수 있습니다. 몽유는 초록 나무들을 식재한 화단 뒤의 벽면과 대문 기둥 등을 백토로 하얗게 정리하여 낮에는 햇빛을 받아 '성스러운 빛의 공간'으로 눈부시고, 밤에는 조명과 함께 환하게 빛나는 맑은 기운을 느낄 수 있도록 조성하였습니다. 황토 흙과 목조로 만든 친환경 주택인 몽유(夢遊)에서 백토를 바라보기만 해도 숙면이 되는 신기한 경험을 통해 몸과 마음의 완전한 휴식을 지원합니다. 감사합니다.
