We had a spectacular stay. We could walk everywhere or take the tram. We came for the tulip festival and fell in love with Amsterdam. If you want to be in the centre of it all this is the place to be. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful view of the canal. Great local restaurants and bars. Shopping close by. Everything you could possibly need. We have so much more we could say about the accommodation, the location and the hosts. If it is available grab it Now you won’t be disappointed!

We had a fantastic weekend at Peter & Jose’s place. It is in a quiet and picturesque location although quite secluded, so the nearest shop was a 15-20 minute walk away and the train station around half an hour. However, Jose has bikes you can borrow to make the journey a little shorter and most of the walk is through the open air museum passing beautiful windmills and pretty houses. We had no trouble getting an uber from the station when we came back in the evening, and the train journey into central Dam was only 15 minutes. The accommodation is spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped. We really appreciated the delicious breakfast provided by Jose on the first and last mornings of our stay. Highly recommended and we certainly hope to return!

Great place to stay! Very quiet area, very clean Airbnb, it’s equipped with everything you need. Parking in front of the house is super convenient and for free. Checkin / out was super easy, Jean was very supportive / flexibel with the timings. We will definitely come back!

Wir haben uns bei Judith sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und hilfreich, Check-in und Check-out waren total unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft selber ist wunderschön und in der besten Lage, man kann nahezu alles wichtige zu Fuß erreichen (etwa 25min zum HBF, 15 zum Damsquare). Es war sauber und wunderschön, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder. Danke! :)

Très bon accueil de la part de Christa et son mari. Le logement est très propre, très grand et fidèle à la description. Les petites attentions de Christa ont été un vrai plaisir. Séjour très agréable!

Tahier ha sido un anfitrión muy educado y cálido. Siempre estuvo intentando ayudar. La casa está muy bien ubicada, en pleno barrio rojo pero en una calle lateral libre de ruidos. Dese allí se llega caminando a los sitios de interés y Amsterdam Central. El espacio es amplio para dos personas, estaba muy limpio. Dos aspectos positivos a destacar: hay lavarropas ( lava y seca) y no hay escaleras, es planta baja.

Mere steps away from the lovely and noisy chaos of Amsterdam centrum, Joanna’s place is a convenient oasis. Easy, secure access and a convenient location for all of Amsterdam including trams and Centraal Station. Best of all, a quiet and restful space. This isn’t a huge space, but very manageable for 3 people. My only caution would be for anyone with mobility challenges, the stairs (typical to classic Dutch houses) are narrow and steep. A wonderful stay in a historic property.

Alloggio molto comodo e confortevole per chi desidera una camera singola o doppia da usare come base per visitare Leida e le città circostanti. L’appartamento è grande abbastanza per due persone, confortevole e presenta tutte le comodità per un soggiorno piacevole. La cucina è piccola ma ben fornita di tutto il necessario per un pranzo o una cena veloce. Zona centrale, la stazione è facile da raggiungere sia con i mezzi che a piedi. L’host Pauline è molto disponibile, risponde in maniera reattiva e educata ai messaggi, inoltre ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni in maniera chiara.

We loved Cornelis‘ place! It was nice, clean, and well equipped with oven and dishwasher. The house is greatly (and quiet) located, for trips to Alkmaar, the beach or Haarlem. 2 bicycles can be used. The beds were really comfy. The next supermarket is just a 3 minute car ride away. A big plus in the summer is the terrace with a smoker and a barbecue equipment! Cornelis was always fast in answering! We will definitely return. Thank you, Cornelis!

What a great stay! Janmartin and Jacco made us feel welcomed and right at home. They communicated quickly, clearly, and efficiently. They provided a book of local things to do and see, including restaurants. Everything was ready when we arrived, the apartment was clean, and if we needed anything (like extra towels or information ), they responded. After exploring the Netherlands each day, we loved coming back in the evening to such a beautiful peaceful place to wind down and sleep in the comforting bed. Sunsets over the water around the block were stunning. Plenty of hot water for showers. The two of us highly recommend this Airbnb

Die Wohnung war sauber und genau wie beschrieben. Sie liegt in einer tollen Gegend – der Strand ist in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch die Restaurants in der Umgebung sind einfach richtig lecker! Zwar etwas teurer, aber das ist in einem Urlaubsort absolut nachvollziehbar. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war einwandfrei – sie hat sich immer sofort gemeldet, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!

Super airbnb ! l’endroit est facile d’accès en transport (15mn à pied du ferry gratuit), de plus les vélos proposés par Marijke sont d’une grande aide lorsqu’on veut se déplacer en visitant! La chambre est superbe et nous avons adoré passer un week-end dans un endroit aussi romantique☺️ Marijke est une super hôte, disponible et très amicale qui a égayé notre séjour par ses conseils et son accueil ! Si nous revenons à Amsterdam, nous n’hésiterons pas à réserver de nouveau chez elle !

Super dejlig lejlighed lige ud til vandet. Alt hvad du behøver i rolige omgivelser og en meget venlig og imødekommende vært. Meget fin og moderne indretning. Lejligheden ligger tæt på offentlig transport, som har mange afgange i timen, så du er i Amsterdam centrum på 15 min. Herudover er der supermarked og restauranter tæt på. En rigtig god oplevelse. Kan varmt anbefale

Jolanda ist sehr freundlich! Es war ein wirklich schönerAufenthalt. Alles ist klein, aber war für die knapp vier Tage absolut ausreichend. Der Strand und alles weitere ist super gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Fran war hilfsbereit aber nicht aufdringlich. Sie hat uns auf Wunsch im Vorfeld schon einen Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Danke dafür. Sonst war alles ok für uns. In 20 Minuten ist man mit dem Fahrrad in der Altstadt von Leiden und in 50 Minuten sogar am Strand. Wir würden hier wieder buchen.

Great location. On the top floor with a terrace overlooking a peaceful courtyard. The sounds of birds were very soothing all through the day. Felt like staying in old Amsterdam. As described, the stairs are very steep with narrow steps, as of old. Good exercise! The studio is compact but had the amenities we wanted. Good stores and restaurants all around. Ellen is a great communicator. We had a lovely stay.

We already expected Jeroen to be an attentive, pleasant, and amazing host based on the reviews we had read on Airbnb, but I must say he still managed to exceed our expectations. We had to check in late, and that was no problem for him. He waited for us, gave us all the instructions we needed, and even kindly left us some chocolates. On top of that, the neighborhood where the house is located is very quiet and pleasant; we felt very safe there. Everything regarding the organization of the house was impeccable.. cleanliness, toiletries, towels, bed linens. You can stay at Jeroen's place without hesitation, you won’t regret it.

Le logement est tout simplement idéal pour baigner dans un environnement typiquement néerlandais. Notre hôte a été super attentionné et sympathique ; il nous a même donné des œufs frais de ses poules. Adorable. Le logement est petit mais bien adapté pour deux personnes. Si comme nous, vous recherchez calme, sérénité mais également proximité d'Amsterdam, le tout accessible facilement, alors n'hésitez pas, réservez !

We checked in late evening and Ilam was there to show us around plus make us feel instantly welcome and at home. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well kitted out with all that we needed to make it feel like home from home. There is a really comfy bed and great shower plus the kitchen is equipped with all that we needed to be self catering. We found the nearby supermarket very well stocked and adequately catered for our Vegan requirements. Our hosts were very thoughtful too with some lovely welcoming touches to make our stay feel extra special , thank you both so much for the cold beers and bottle of wine which we enjoyed whilst sitting in the pretty and private outdoor space which overlooked a Japanese garden and fields beyond that. The apartment is in a beautifully quiet and leafy neighbourhood with some lovely countryside walks locally yet within easy reach of Amsterdam and other tourist locations via a nearby bus link. Thank you both so much for a memorable stay.

Wir waren spontan für zwei Tage in Amsterdam und haben das Apartment zu einem super Preis bekommen – deutlich günstiger als der Durchschnitt! Die Lage ist perfekt: Geschäfte sind fußläufig gut erreichbar, und mit der Bahn ist man in nur 20 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Der Check-in verlief völlig problemlos, und die Kommunikation mit Lisa war top! Immer wieder gerne!

Studio parfait pour un court séjour à Amsterdam. Très beau petit village et calme. Le logement était très propre avec une magnifique vue surtout au réveil. Il est très pratique de se rendre au centre d'Amsterdam (environ 15min de bus). Je recommande fortement et reviendrai avec plaisir.

We had a great stay at Mike and Janet’s. The steps were steep with our suitcases, but Mike carried them up and down for us- which we appreciated. The neighborhood was quiet, and the apartment was spotless. We enjoyed the proximity of the Albert Cuyp market, multiple Albert Heijn grocery stores, and the 4 tram was around the corner with a 10-minute ride to the Central Station. Janet left us a bowl of snacks, and the washer and dryer in the unit was very helpful. Would highly recommend this location and such attentive hosts! We’ve had a number of Airbnb stays, and although we didn’t meet Janet in person, Mike and Janet are some of the best hosts we have encountered- quick to answer questions, and they checked in multiple times to see if there was anything we needed for our stay. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Séjour exceptionnel ! Le logement était impeccable, décoré avec goût et parfaitement conforme à la description. Tout était pensé pour le confort : literie très confortable, cuisine bien équipée, et une propreté irréprochable.
