Wonderful location on a canal. Lovely hosts with lots of good tips. Accommodations are high quality - like new - and very comfortable. We loved our hosts.

La casa de Chris es muy bonita y cuenta con todo lo necesario y hasta más para una cómoda estadía, tiene una bella vista desde su balcón y su llegada es muy fácil. Chris fue muy amable con nosotros, nos permitió guardar las maletas en su casa mientras se cumplía el horario del check in, nos prestó sus bicicletas para un buen paseo y siempre estuvo atento a nuestros mensajes. Cerca hay supermercados, la zona es muy tranquila y bonita y a unas cuadras puedes tomar el autobús para dirigirte a Amsterdam. alojamiento 10 de 10.

We stayed here while visiting the tulip fields. We were happy it was in walking distance of the tulip barn and downtown Hillegom. Airbnb is beautiful and very private. I would recommend anyone staying here to take a stroll down to Hotel Villa Flora for food, it’s a peaceful walk at night, and very safe. Tulip fields were across the street as an added bonus. We were even able to get a few Ubers very easy from the corner of the local road. WiFi was very good- which is important when you’re from the US and your phone doesn’t have service unless you have WiFi. We were able to check in on family and google search food in the area. And finally, there was a surprise corgi next door. We loved walking by the house next door and seeing the corgi!!!! We would absolutely stay here again

Haarlem is gorgeous. The apartment perfect. Everything was within a ten minute walk- windmill, boat cruise, churches, easy train station, tons of places to eat and grocery. We LOVED it here.

We stayed a week in Dave’s apartment and enjoyed every minute! His instructions were clear on the bus from the airport and after a quick six minute walk we were there. He very kindly let us leave our luggage while the cleaners were busy so we could explore the area before checking in. The photos show accurately the elegance and spaciousness, including the delightful garden. We ended each day sitting in the sun, watching the boats and bicycles go by. In summation, it is a fantastic place. Dave is an affable and helpful host whom we really enjoyed talking with. We would not hesitate to return should we find ourselves in Haarlem again!

Ellie è stata gentilissima e super disponibile fino alla fine, la casa bella in un quartiere tranquillo e posizione stupenda facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi e molto vicino all'aeroporto di Schipol. Se proprio devo trovare una pecca è la mancanza delle posate in casa, ma per il resto tutto come nella descrizione. Sicuramente ci torneremo in un futuro se ci sarà l'occasione.

This stay was perfect for our last night in the Netherlands. We wanted to be close to the airport. It was about a 15min walk to the bus stop and then a 30-40 min bus ride. The place was so pretty and was very comfortable. I would recommend.

We stayed at Brenda and Rutgers house for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. It was even more beautiful than the pictures, exceptionally clean and so relaxing. The attention to detail was incredible, it felt like a spa resort! Very comfortable beds, amazing showers, stunning decor and had everything we could possibly need. The seperate den room was a favourite for our 2 kids with it's giant tv where we snuggled up for a movie night to relax after a hectic few weeks travelling before flying home. The big jacuzzi was a hit with all of us too! We wished we could have stayed longer to make use of the bbq, firepit and sauna. We were using public transport and it was a short enjoyable walk to the nearest bus stop which took us into Haarlem in minutes. Brenda was so responsive before and during our stay and so nice to deal with. I can't accurately describe how stunning and relaxing this house is. If it's available for your dates, book it, you won't regret it! Thank you Brenda!!

Unseren Holland Urlaub haben wir zu dritt in dem schönen privaten Ferienhaus verbringen dürfen. Das Häuschen ist sehr toll eingerichtet, alles ist sehr schön sauber und wir haben uns einfach wie Zuhause gefühlt. Bei gutem Wetter kann man auf der tollen Terrasse sitzen und die Ruhe genießen. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal kommen :) Vielen Dank Maaike und Mark, dass wir in eurem Häuschen unseren Urlaub genießen durften!

This house was a gem of a find! We loved staying right on the water (and despite the cold, our son loved swimming), having access to the boat (which we took to dinner one night!), and just the peace and relaxation of watching the water and boats go by. You feel like you’re in the middle of no where, and yet we were a very short drive to all that we wanted to do - Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam, and even the coast! We walked to get coffee in the mornings and enjoyed the walk and the town. We also love that it’s dog friendly! We changed our minds last minute and didn’t take our dog along, but we were wishing we had. He would’ve loved the canal and boat!

We had a wonderful family holiday here. The house and garden were comfortable, spacious and very well maintained and equipped. We had everything we could possibly need and more, and felt at home from the minute we arrived. This is just the perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful base , near the airport, especially if travelling with young children. We hired a car to get around easily, and used the Park & Ride into Amsterdam which was easy and cheap. We would highly recommend this to others, thank you so much.

Such a lovely home. We loved it. So nicely decorated and such a sweet garden space. We loved using the bbq. Was a 30 min uber to Amsterdam and keukenhoff.

This is the best air bnb we have stayed in. The house was impeccable - clean, comfortable and we felt completely at home. This is a family home but there was no clutter or anything else that would make you feel you were impinging on someone’s personal items. The area is fab - close to the beach, which we visited, and 2 mins to the train station for trains to central Amsterdam in 15 mins. There is a local bakery, butcher, lovely ice cream shop and big supermarket 2 mins walk away. It is 5 mins on the train to Haarlem which is huge - lots of small boutique shops and chain shops. The area is lovely - really safe and quiet. Jan-Kees is the most amazing host. He is so responsive - we set up a what’s app and he always replied instantly. He had so many tips for where to eat and where to go. We will be back to visit those places we missed. The children loved the cat and the chickens! Thank you Jan-Kees and family for all your help and for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home ☺️

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Jannieks Haus sehr genossen. Das Haus aus dem Jahr 1922 und der Gemeinschaftsgarten sind zauberhaft. Über die Straße ist ein kleiner Kanal in dem wir gerne schwimmen waren.

Wij hebben een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad. Mooi ingericht, luxe en zeer ruim met fijne badkamer en slaapkamers.

We had an amazing stay at Ingrid’s place. She was a fantastic host, even meeting us in person when we arrived (which we really appreciated), and she shared great local tips for food and sights. The bright, clean suite had everything we needed, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've had at an Airbnb. We loved the back garden and sitting by the canal out front. Ingrid provided two bikes, which we used daily—it was an easy 5–8 min ride to the ferry, then less than 5 min across to central Amsterdam. Shops, groceries, and restaurants were also just a short bike ride away, and a metro station was nearby (about a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride). After busy days exploring, it was so nice to return to Ingrid’s home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience both the city and a peaceful local neighborhood. Thanks again Ingrid!

Familien på 4 personer med 2 ungdommer. Leiligheten er nok plass for oss. Fin beliggenhet og privat parkering. Det tar 15 minutter for å kjøre inn på Amsterdam senter. Koselig nabolag og fin med sykkeltur rundt. Anbefales. Vi kommer gjerne igjen

Hugo’s home was absolutely perfect! The best location - able to walk everywhere - the street and canal it was on is so quiet and peaceful and beautiful. The street has a beautiful view of a church and hearing the church bells every day was an added treat. Hugo is the absolute best host - so quick to answer any questions and so full of recommendations. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is excellent. We only used the kitchen for coffee - Hugo is very generous in providing coffee - and we had such a lovely view of the canal when sitting at the table drinking it. We loved this place - everything about it. We hope to come back and stay here again.

Words cannot express how lovely Joze’s place was! She met us upon arrival and gave us a tour, and we immediately felt right at home! She was extremely helpful and communicative! The home is located in a fantastic quiet neighborhood with walking distance to everything Amsterdam has to offer! The home is filled with Joze’s artwork and it makes for stunning finishing touches! We cannot wait to come back to Amsterdam and hopefully have the opportunity to stay at her place again! We had the BEST time!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Julies Apartment. Die Lage ist ideal – zwar am Rande von Zandvoort, aber das Zentrum ist in unter 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Strand und das Meer liegen praktisch direkt vor der Haustür, was unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Das Apartment selbst ist gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Einziger Hinweis: Die Treppe zum Eingang ist recht steil, daran muss man sich kurz gewöhnen. Julie ist eine sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die bei Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung stand. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden das Apartment jederzeit wieder buchen!

Tastefully decorated house with a great view and calm neighbourhood right outside the city center. We didn't had wifi due to a service disruption and it was missing some basic things like a kettle (or we just couldn't find it), but otherwise it was a great stay. Thanks John!
