This home was huge. It was a great space for our family of 5 adults. Julie was a great commicater, and had everything ready for our 3 day stay.

3 nuits dans cette magnifique maison avec sa vue sublime sur le fjord. Le salon séjour est tellement accueillant et reposant. Pas besoin de télé, il suffit de regarder dehors et admirer la beauté du paysage. La maison est grande et bien équipée, avec une cuisine très fonctionnelle. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les lits très confortables. Un séjour au top !

Such a beautiful place, looked better in person than in the photos. We felt like at home, apprecited the Christmas tree and the decorations! The host was very friendly and resposive. The hiking/cycling/crosscountry trail only a few mins from the house. Great neighborhood too! Hope to come back one day!

Magnifique séjour, logement idéalement placé en pleine nature, face à la mer. La vue depuis le salon est fabuleuse. Très central pour visiter les Lofoten.

Wir haben insgesamt 5 Wochen in diesem tollen Haus verbracht und dort Weihnachten, Silvester und einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Auch wenn das Wetter zwischendurch typisch wechselhaft war, war es im Haus immer urgemütlich und dank des tollen Sofas konnten wir herrlich vor dem Kamin entspannen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Sondre war für uns immer innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar und stand uns hilfreich bei Fragen zur Seite. Bei Ankunft war das Haus liebevoll weihnachtlich geschmückt und ein paar leckere Willkommensgeschenke haben uns erwartet. Wir konnten Polarlichter, Perlmuttwolken, Adler, Schneehühner und Schneehasen beobachten. Im nächsten Ort Bø (ca. 10 min) gibt es einen Supermarkt, der alles hat, was man braucht. Außerdem gibt es dort einen tollen Strand und eine Wanderung zu einer Schutzhütte mit phänomenaler Aussicht. Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit und wenn wir mal wieder in die Gegend reisen, dann wissen wir, wohin :) Vielen Dank Sondre!

Fint sted og fint opphold!

Erittäin viihtyisä omakotitalon alakerta. Oman auton sai ajaa autotalliin ja asunto sijaitsi rauhallisella paikalla upeitten maisemien lähellä. Ainoa varoituksen sana, jos olet lähemmäs kaksimetrinen, saattaa asunnon huonekorkeus rajoittaa siinä tapauksessa.

Vi var en helg på hytta til Tor-Trygve,kjempe koselig hytte 😀alt var som det er beskrevet i annonsen. Var ikke så heldig med været ,men gikk noen turløyper som det er mange av i området😀kommer gjerne hit igjen😀

Bellissimo alloggio in una posizione molto tranquilla con vista oceano. Se amate i posti non turistici e con un’esperienza più “local” la casa di Odrunn fa al caso vostro. Ottimo punto di partenza per vedere tutte le attrazioni delle Lofoten, macchina ovviamente necessaria! Consiglio anche il Kafe a pochi passi dalla casa che fa delle zuppe eccellenti!

We arrived late at night after a 4 hour drive from Narvik. The next day Cato showed me how to fill and heat the hottub and even took it upon himself to get it up to temp while we were out grocery shopping. That night we enjoyed gazing at the aurora borealis dancing above our heads in the hottub. A couple days later it got rainy and extremely windy preventing us from heating the hottub. As compensation Cato offered us use of his sauna and to take a swim in the sea, which we gladly did. He also gave us a whole cod for free from his fisherman's friend Tom which we used to make typical Norwegian dishes. Cato was extremely helpful and kind, he replied within minutes whenever we needed help or had any questions and he was full of amazing recommendations, as to where to hike and which towns and restaurants to visit. Towards the end of our stay it snowed a lot turning the surroundings into winter wonderland. We were very lucky to see all sides of Norway including the Northern lights!

Nydelig opphold i vakre omgivelser. Ca 8-10min med bil inn til Sortland sentrum, topp utgangspunkt for turer på Hadseløya og ellers i Vesterålen! Lars svarte raskt på alle henvendelser. Anbefales på det varmeste til nye gjester, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning! Takk for at vi fikk leie huset deres Lars!

Tommy is a wonderful host. He made us feel very welcome. he was very responsive and communicated well, sharing all the information we needed to enjoy the cabin and the area surrounding it. He allowed us to arrive early and had put heating on ready for our arrival. I believe the cabin is a holiday home for Tommy and his family, so it felt very homely and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The cabin itself is lovely and clean, the kitchen is quite small if you were cooking big meals for a group but it would be perfectly manageable. The beautiful large window in the living/dining area gives incredible views across the water and to the mountains. It was very windy, wet and cold during our stay at the end of September however we still made use of the boathouse where you can have a big fire to warm up, there’s chairs to sit and play some music and card games. There are lots of lovely places to hike a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone.
