beautiful home. Very nostalgic for the Adirondacks! we went up for an ice fishing trip with the kids and some friends. great little town and beautiful backdrop of the mountains on the lake. We will definitely be back again!

The cabin was great. Beds were super comfortable and we loved the hot tub. Host was kind, communicative and responsive.

Kyle was a great host who responded quickly to any concerns we had. The instructions were very thorough, leaving no room for error or confusion. The house felt very cozy and had everything that was listed. It was definitely a great stay and will be recommending to others.

We had such a lovely time at Bird Camp! The house was so cozy and perfect for a weekend in the ADK - even with 20 inches of snow fall 😁 With access to a hot tub, and being so close to XC and downhill skiing activities, Bird Camp will be a place we’d love to come back to for our next trip upstate!

We had a wonderful time at Camp Bossie. It was very peaceful and the cabin looked even bigger than in the photos. We were 3 people and never felt cramped. The hot tub for rent was a great feature. The views over the valley are not to be missed. There were also some great walking and hiking trails nearby, not to mention some cute towns.

We had a fantastic ski vacation at Ashley's place. It is about a 25 minute drive to Gore, but goes fast, pretty drive along the river, and the place is perfect at the end of the day. so lovely to come back to a hot tub and cozy living room with a gas fireplace that just turns on, no having to deal with making a wood fire. Kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved the loft with the cute bed nooks.

My friends and I LOVED staying here. It was a little tricky to find, as there were no instructions regarding the suspension bridge you need to cross to find the house. The water from the tap definitely smelled a little funny which wasn't that big of an issue and we decided to get more water from the store for washing hands and such. Other than that we had a great time. There were so many sleeping options, so everybody got their own bed. Also the huge CD selection was a giant win for the weekend. The overall vibe was incredible. We loved the decor. We would book again!!!

It’s a cozy setting indoor. The stars at night were beautiful and there’s a lake right there. Davanna was super accommodating and responsive. The cabin is connected to two other cabins and the people next door were so nice. Deff recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Erica’s place! We enjoyed the firepit and outdoor grill, while our dog enjoyed relaxing on the porch and running around the front area. It was very close to the river which you could hear anytime you were outside, adding to the atmosphere. Both in and outside the house, it seemed she had thought of anything we could possibly need! It was a beautiful cabin, fairly private and quiet, and just what everyone wants for a get-away trip. This was my first time booking with Airbnb, and she made our trip easy from the initial communication prior to booking until the final day when she offered us an additional day due to inclement weather during our stay. I would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxed trip near water!

My boyfriend and I, along with one of his friends, and our dogs all enjoyed this cabin for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday! It was beautiful, perfect size for us, and seems like the perfect place no matter the season. There are snowmobile trails, ski mountains, a creek out back and kayaks/canoes for our use. The creek was frozen when we visited and the dogs enjoyed being able to run freely up and down it :) We really hope to be able to rent this cabin in the summer and experience the water. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools and utensils for anything we wanted to cook. John and Crystal also left dog toys for ours to enjoy and they loved them! Thank you both so much. We had a wonderful long weekend!

We had a really nice time at the cabin this past week. It had a very cozy feel and the open floor plan helped us to feel more together and grow even closer over the course of the trip. I particularly enjoyed the large windows that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful snow as we ate. The food in Old Forge and Inlet was quite good, even for the off-season which we were pleasantly surprised by. The house also provided a great home base for many hikes in the area.

This is a beautiful place! The cabin is warm and cozy. The views of the lake are wonderful. Despite the chilly temperatures outside, the cabin was warm. The electric fireplace provided ample heat and created a warm, cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. There is also a very nice set of barbecue tools for grilling outdoors. Upon arrival there were some welcome snacks. All amenities are as listed in the description. There is also a nice array of wine glasses and cocktail supplies. There are many opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks within a reasonable distance- hiking trails, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid. The view from the cabin is great. Sitting at the firepit also provides a good view of the lake. The location is very private and peaceful. Martin is a wonderful host. He was very responsive to all questions prior to and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this location.

This was the second time we stayed here and once again it did not disappoint. The host is property is amazing. We had a wonderful anniversary and were lucky enough to catch a clear night with a view of the northern lights. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Rachel.

We had a wonderful visit to Holiday Shores. The property was quiet and peaceful and we spent a lot of time down by the lake. It is located pretty much perfectly in between Old Forge and Inlet, giving you great restaurant and hiking options close by. The kids had fun playing bocce ball and using the sand toys. The cabin was clean, cozy, and the perfect size for our family of four. We had amazing sleep while being serenaded by loons and owls. We look forward to visiting again!

Mary Alice is a great host. She was quick to respond to any questions I had prior to and during our stay. Everything described on the website ( amenities list) and the photos were very accurate. The cottage was comfy and spacious. The location was peaceful. We especially enjoyed the enclosed porch overlooking the lake- perfect for enjoying early morning coffee, meals and listening to the loons at night! The kitchen is well equipped. We were able to relax and enjoy a much needed vacation. The price was very reasonable. And lastly, I was EXTREMELY pleased and impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage. Overall great stay! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I came across this hidden gem while looking for a cabin to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. We both really enjoy being out in nature and going on hikes. This cabin was perfect. Owl’s Head Mountain Trail was less than 10 minutes away. Lots to do around the town. Overall a great experience and made lots of memories.

I would strongly recommend Patti's place to anyone that is interested in experiencing off-grid living. I wanted a quite place in the Adirondack's, and it is definitely that. Patti told me she built the house herself with her then husband 25 years ago. This place has more character than any place I have stayed on AirBNB. The electric is 100% off grid coming from solar panels on the roof. The water is the kind of clean crispness that can only come from a well. There is a tank that holds 50 gallons, but no civil water or electric from the grid. The place is so quite. I think a neighbor told me all the lots are 15 acres. In any case, I never heard any sounds coming from nearby neighbors. It is also right on a network of trails and my dog and I loved touring those each morning. Patti also has a garden and offered that I take anything I wanted. I cannot say enough about this place. It is truly a special place.

This is a truly lovely place to stay! John is great host...flexible with dates, very responsive to questions and his description was very accurate, we felt at home walking through the door. Fully appointed kitchen made meal prep a breeze. The deck is beautiful with multiple outdoor cooking options and plenty of places to sit and eat. The firepit area was perfect for s'mores and reconnecting. There is a lot to enjoy in the area. Short walk to water and the grandchildren loved swimming off the dock. Short drives take you to hiking and plenty of places to drop a canoe or fish. Highly recommend and we are hoping this is available for our family gathering next year.

Brandon’s home was perfect! It was just as described! Very clean, big and well stocked. You just need to bring your own bath towels and sheets, but, he does state that in the listing and explains why. His home has the perfect ADK feel and was so nice for a larger family. It was very roomy, very comfortable and the yard, fire pit and the ample supply of fire wood was a big plus! We were able to have a very nice comfortable family dinner there. It was truly perfect! Brandon’s home is less than a 5 minute drive into the town of Inlet. The Screamen Eagle was amazing! Great service and good for our large party. We had a wonderful stay in the ADK at Brandon’s place!

A lovely peaceful Adirondack retreat on a charming lake with two small private islands and a swimming dock. Perfect for a single, couple or family—cabin can accommodate it all. Outdoor fire pit and canoe/boat available. Greg was immensely kind and went above and beyond to be helpful. He was quick to be responsive to every question, while also maintaining the privacy of the cabin. Fully equipped cooking kitchen and great cell phone service—neither of which are always the case in Adirondack rentals! Thank you Greg!
