Built purely out of stone , wood and mud house painstakingly and beautifully restored with all modern amenities. Is now a family run Home-stay. Simple and atmospheric pet friendly mountain lodge, located in the buffer zone of the Gamgul Siyabehi Wildlife Sanctuary ( district Chamba).
Located within Pong reservoir bird sanctuary, 150 m from Beas river, with Jwala ji, Chintpurni, and Baglamukhi temples just 25 to 35 min away; the cottage is an ideal resting place for pilgrims the year around and birders during winter months. Heritage villages Pragpur and Garli are 6 & 8 km respectively. Hill stations Dharamshala & Palampur are both 2-hr drive. Jamble Bassi & Nagrota Surian, excellent viewing spots for winter migratory birds, are 30-min & 1-hr respectively.
Spartan, yet elegant, the room has all the basic requirements. Tastefully furnished with cotton linen, the mattresses and quilts are hand made by the local artisans to provide comfort. The shared toilets and Bathrooms are close by.
