With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. Puzzle Cottage Quirky Yorkshire Dales Cottage

A delightful stone-built cottage located in the village of Harmby, close to the popular Yorkshire towns of Leyburn and Middleham in the northern part of the Yorkshire Dales. Built in the 1600s, Puzzle Cottage is the oldest property in the village and is believed to have been the falconry for Bolton Castle. An unusual layout set out over three floors, the cottage has been sympathetically styled with a cosy cottage feel which adds to the immense character and charm of this historic old cottage.

Our charming cottage forms part of a grade 2 listed mill, residing in the tranquil hamlet of Wensley just outside the market town of Leyburn. The contemporary country style loft cottage is warm and welcoming. The cottage is rural and surrounded by fields in all directions. Rest and relax in front of the log burner on a cold winter's evening or unwind with a glass of your favourite tipple in the enclosed garden with hot tub looking out over the idyllic views of Wensleydale, towards Penn Hill.

The Bolthole is a delightful dog-friendly 2-bedroom cottage situated in the heart of bustling Leyburn, ideal for two adults and two children. Dating back over 150 years, this comfortable home retains many original features and has a cosy sitting-room with log-burner and recently refurbished shower room. There is easy access to various cafes, pubs, grocery stores and many independent shops whilst stunning scenery, including the famous Leyburn Shawl, is less than a five minute walk away.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. The annexe also has ramped access so is suitable for less mobile guests. We are ideally positioned for visitors wishing to explore the area on foot, bike, bus, or car and there are a number of fabulous walks right from our door.
