This was the best first Airbnb experience. We were celebrating our 10-year anniversary with our 3 young kids. This home was just beautiful. The photos do not do enough justice. The home was super spacious and TV in both rooms. Our 5yr old enjoyed the jacuzzi because it was shallow and warm. The pool was huge with a diving board. It was nice having the outdoor kitchen and grill. We were able to prepare our food while also watching the kids swim. We enjoyed her papayas, avocados, and mango. Ms. Sandra shared with us her organic eggs from her chickens, Kale, beets, basil, and lettuce from her garden. Every morning when I woke up, I couldn't wait to open the curtains and windows to see the view and hear the birds. I could go on and on about this place. Thank you Ms. Sandra. It was such a pleasure meeting you and spending time in you beautiful home🙏

We had an amazing time at Joe and Anna’s place! The location was ideal, tucked in a quiet area but still close to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything you’d want in an Airbnb. The kitchen had all the utensils and essentials for easy cooking, and the pool was perfect for our kids, especially with the fun pool toys that were already there. Joe and Anna were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. It really felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Loved staying here! Was extremely clean and quiet. House was so lovely. I’m not sure how but the house was even better in person than the pictures! So much natural light comes in from the huge picture windows. All of the beds and furniture were so comfortable and lots of beach supplies if you have kids. Would definitely stay again!

우리 가족들은 이곳에서 정말 멋진 시간을 보냈습니다 호놀룰루에서 좀 멀고 차가 좀 막히긴 했지만 이곳에 오면 집처럼 느껴지는 편안함이 있습니다. 집기류 식기류 등이 완벽하게 갖추어져 있어서 가족들끼리 숙소에서 밥을 해 먹기 참 좋았습니다 숙소 주변 비치들도 좋아서 한적하게 즐길 수 있었고, 일몰을 감상하기 좋았습니다 앞 뒤의 산 풍경이 정말 멋집니다.

Bryn & Andy’s place was perfect. Tons of things to do with kids. Safe, quiet (the birds not so much) peaceful neighborhood. Woke up every morning relaxed and enjoyed the sounds of the island (and the turkeys) while the kids swam. Have every amenity listed plus many more! Perfect house for a family with children. Hosts were very responsive! And proactive communicated to make sure our stay was great and check in and check out were easy as could be! Thank you!!!

Pamela’s place exceeded our expectations in the best way. It felt like a hidden gem, and honestly, we tried to extend our stay because we were enjoying it so much! Sadly, it was already booked (no surprise), but Pamela was super communicative and kind throughout, and we totally understood. This place has actually inspired us to build our future home with the same layout! Our check-in situation was a bit unique due to some schedule changes on our end, but Pamela went above and beyond to accommodate us. She made the process seamless, and the directions to get to the “Kula Jewel” were spot on—no guesswork needed. Pamela was kind enough to meet us in person and personally show us how to use the hot tub. Although we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the hot tub or pool this time around(amazing ocean and Maui valley views from here too!,) we’re already planning our next staycation and will definitely make the most of them then. We loved every minute at Nicki's place. She met us at the door for a really helpful welcome tour and was always very quick to respond to inquiries about things to do in Kona and beyond. The beds were super comfy and the house was airy with tons of big windows and doors with screens, so it was a lovely place to relax. The pool is way bigger than we expected - perfect for laps after sitting in the sauna. The water temp was pretty cold, though, as it's not heated and it had been cloudy for a while, so the kids didn't really use the pool. But they kept busy by picking fruit from the many trees surrounding the house. Oh and the view, of course - amazing! Very close to the house is Mountain Thunder Coffee, which offers free tours of their facility so you can see why Kona coffee is so unique - a big hit for kids and adults alike. We can't recommend Nicki's place more highly - would have loved to stay longer!

This place is absolutely amazing! The enclosed patio was our favorite, and the backyard offers a stunning view all on its own. The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed including beach chairs and towels, which were super convenient. The kitchen is has all the appliances you could need. We loved the close proximity to hiking trails and great local restaurants. The private pool was such a treat and was very clean as well. We were initially concerned about the lack of A/C, but there are plenty of fans throughout the space that kept us cool and comfortable at night. They provided outstanding customer service, were extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or needs. We truly loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

We’ve been to Maui four times in the past year, and Peter’s place has been by far the best location and value of all our visits. It’s perfectly situated—just 5–15 minutes from what we feel are the best beaches and snorkeling spots on the island. The location easily beats Kaanapali and Napili. The home is well-kept, in a quiet neighborhood just off the main road, so you get peace and privacy without sacrificing convenience. Peter is a kind and respectful host—he gives you your space but is quick to respond if you need anything. I don’t usually leave long reviews, but after staying at so many Airbnbs, I can confidently say: if you’re heading to Maui, this is the place and location you want. 100% satisfied. Thank you, Peter.

Wow. What a spectacular place. A true eco-jungle-lodge-type experience. The location, the home, the host's communication and aloha spirit - everything was fantastic. Highly recommend 4WD / AWD car for the driveway, although we made it work with a sedan (kind of comical, actually). We are an adventurous family of four adults (2 grown kids) that likes experiences and lodging that would be the opposite of a cruise ship or resort. This place was perfect for us. We will be back!

The view is really nice. The appliance are new and the rooms are clean. Debi is very sweet. She’s very responsive and left us cookies! It’s close to Kona but hidden away from the traffic. Very cool place and a very nice stay.

Nothing but great things to say about this Airbnb. Clean, safe, comfortable, walkable, convenient, good wifi, air conditioning and fans, it was one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Friendly and easy to communicate with hosts. I really enjoyed my time here and can’t wait to return soon, thank you!

The pictures of this house do not do it justice. The entire property is incredibly lush and tropical, we felt like we were on our own private island. I could have stayed at the house for our entire trip and would have been happy!

We have had the most amazing stay in Hanalei - Rainbow House is everything we were hoping for and more. Surfing with Micco was the icing on the cake. We will be back to Hanalei soon and we plan on booking here again. From the quiet location to the convenience of being able to walk everywhere, we have been happy as clams on our family vacation! 8 thumbs up from a family of four.

This place was totally awesome! It was so beautiful and peaceful! We slept so well! The house was well stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Denise and Brian are the best hosts, making sure we had everything we need. Itineraries were provided so we were never bored. We will definitely be back for a stay in the beautiful rainforest on the Big Island! 🏝️

I had a great stay at Mark’s place! He was very responsive and helpful throughout my visit. The space itself is beautiful—high ceilings, very spacious, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything was set up to make me feel right at home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others! Also, we stayed 4 nights and found local hidden gem places that we could enjoy. Location is very private and quiet which is loved it.

Dara’s place was amazing! It was very comfortable, peaceful, beautifully surrounded with awesomely colored plants and fruit trees. There were a lot of amenities. The keurig coffee machine was a definite plus as you could enjoy your morning coffee inside looking out to the backyard or at the outdoor table and chairs at the front of the house. Her place was very clean and spacious for myself and my two friends. The living room couch and chair was very comfortable as well. Everything was well organized and not cluttered at all. Very easy to maintain. I’m grateful for the indoor washer and dryer as it allowed me to leave with clean clothes versus having a luggage full of dirty clothes. The ironing board and iron really came in handy as well to press the clothes I needed to wear for the event I was attending. I would highly recommended staying at Dara’s place again! 5 stars and then some for sure!

Definitely one of the better AirBNB's we've stayed at. Location was in a quiet area only about 12 minutes to downtown Hilo. There were lots of little extras that made our stay stand out including the Japanese toilet, good quality towels, and the loofahs provided. Things were well labeled in the apartment and it was very nice to have access to laundry. Apartment was very clean too.

We came to Big Island to enjoy calm and recharge. Eliot's place offers just like that as his house is spacious and plenty of space between properties with peaceful surroundings. because the home sits in a large ground in suburb of Hilo. Downtown Pahoa is close so you can dine out and get shopping done easily if you want. Eliot is kind and smart owner to take care of home and our needs. He was always responsive and come back with a solution for our questions.

What an amazing place! 10min outside of Hanalei so it is quiet and peaceful. We loved going to bed and waking up to the ocean waves!

Have stayed here several times in different units. It works well for us. If you find older reviews complaining about the water pump being loud its no longer an issue. It was updated recently.

Puna Rainforest Retreat Hotspring is truly one of the most beautiful Airbnb properties I’ve ever stayed at. Nestled in the lush rainforest, the property features stunning orchards, a thriving vegetable garden, and a serene trail that made our stay feel like a true escape into nature. Our host, Jacklyn, has clearly poured a lot of love and care into maintaining this special place. She was incredibly warm and welcoming, generously offering us fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the farm. It was such a unique and thoughtful touch that made our experience even more memorable. Our whole family had a wonderful time here, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the natural beauty of the property. If we return to the Big Island, there’s no question—we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a magical and relaxing getaway.

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in Steve‘s Unterkunft und haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Die Lage inmitten von Grün war phantastisch und die Unterkunft blitzsauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Steve ist ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber. Er gab uns viele nützliche Tipps, auch schon weit vor unserer Reise. Aktuell gibt es noch ein „kleines“ Bauprojekt, was er uns auch zuvor mitteilte. Wir hatten keinerlei Beeinträchtigungen dadurch. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und kommen auch gerne wieder 😊 Mahalo Steve! 🙏🏼
