Bed & breakfasts in Hebrides

Wij hebben hier overnacht als tussenstop op onze reis naar Isle of Skye. Prachtig verblijf. Alles is er aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Super fijne bedden, een bad en lekker ontbijtsnacks. Ideaal dus voor ons als gezin. Verder prima communicatie! Zeker waard dus om een keer te gaan logeren.

Great thanks to Anne for hosting us! The place is terrific — quiet, clean, well-decorated, and most importantly, full of passion to life. I have to say that Anne is no wonder a “SUPER HOST”. She is very responsive and ready to help. Last, the delicious Scottish breakfast is unforgettable as well.

What a beautiful home in such a lovely area. Helen is such a lovely lady and gave us such a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Put the kettle on as soon as we arrived and we enjoyed lovely soda bread and cake. Lovely room , warm comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. We had an excellent family stay at the property. We were welcomed to the property by the hosts, and the wood burner was running so it was nice and toasty on arrival. The hosts had also kindly provided some tasty home made biscuits and muffins. The property is spacious, well equipped and well maintained. Burton Fleming was ideally situated for us for days out (Hunmanby gap, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall). The village has a duck pond as well as a play area, which were ideal for exploring with a toddler.

Alan et Hillary sont ADORABLES. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes senties accueillies comme si nous étions de la famille. C’est simple, on ne voulait plus partir !

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

Ian and Fiona were very accommodating and welcoming! All communication and provided information was excellent! 😊 The Old Stables is a beautiful house, and the room with the bathroom upstairs is very clean and comfortable. The place is in a perfect location for all kinds of activities: hiking, walking, cycling, mountain biking, etc. - a great place! Highly recommended, and we hope to return! 😊

The perfect base for exploring Whitby and the surrounding areas. Helen, Nick and not forgetting their gorgeous pup Daisy were wonderful hosts. We felt so welcomed from the arrival, and throughout our stay with delicious breakfast served daily and the most cosy room and bed to retreat inside after days walking and visiting the coast. We would highly recommended their b&b, and will be back in the future!

Jackie is a very thoughtful host, with lots of interesting chat. Her place is great, with everything you'd need - spacious bedroom with a really comfy bed, breakfast provided; it's a real home from home. Very convenient for the train station and ferry - about 10-15 mins walk. Recommended

Super bolthole when staying in the Binbrook area. Ideal for us working local over the weekend. Would also be a great place to stay for people wanting to enjoy the Wolds and its walking routes

Really clean and spacious room in a bed and breakfast near the Loch. There are nice cafes and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and som fantastic walking trails. The room is nice and big, and the bathroom, while on a separate floor, is quite large and properly appointed. A nice breakfast is served in the morning and Juliet is very friendly!

I spent a very enjoyable couple of days st Rachel’s. She was very helpful and made me feel at home. She told me about a location to visit which proved to be great. Fantastic breakfast and very flexible with the timing. A very comfortable bed with clean bedding. Highly recommended!

A lovely couple. Yvonne has put her heart and soul into her home and the “accommodations” and it shows. Just excellent. Very knowledgeable about those local spots of interest you truly want to see and enjoy. This included great recommendations for meals in the area too. Will stay here again in a heart beat. Breakfast was perfect. We felt at home.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Very conveniently located in town and is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was very nice and very comfortable in a nice garden setting. The parking space was good. We had a good evening meal at the Rutland arms just up the road. The fully cooked breakfast was plentiful and tasty and worth the short walk down the road. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

Saltwater chronicles is an outstanding property . Everything you need is provided. The house is beautiful, private and has stunning views. The bedrooms are beautifully designed, beds are comfortable and each room has its own bathroom. The estate has lovely walks and the coastal walks are stunning. Great service and communication from the team at Dunskey. I would highly recommend

A gem of a place at the base of the Yorkshire Wolds, an area worth exploring in its own right! If it's not for the footpaths over the hills and through the vales, it could be for the buddhist temple and cafe, or for the hospitable villages dotted around and in the countryside. In Shiptonthorpe itself there is even a renowned garden centre and a restaurant. Richard and Neil provide you with a spacious room with bath suite in your 'own' corner of the upper floor, stylishly furnished with luxuriouis touches. To spoil you even more they provide breakfast for you, giving you a great start of your day. Don't look further, stop over at theirs!

The house is beautifully and sympathetically decorated and furnished, felt luxurious but not somewhere you were worried about touching things! Our bed was very comfortable, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, thoughtful extras such as dressing gowns and a fridge in the room so we could make tea and coffee. Bathroom was another highlight, gorgeous deep bath and a walk in shower with lovely toiletries. Continental breakfast was delicious, a lovely touch to have bread from the bakery down the road. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, top tips for places to go and visit as well as eat, different transport options into the city also explained. I will be recommending this accommodation to friends and family as I don't think they will find anything better in York.

Noël et Patricia étaient des hôtes charmants, à l'écoute, et de très bon conseil. Ils ont été accomodants par rapport à notre arrivée tardive, et nous avons passé un superbe séjour. Les petits déjeuners, la compagnie de Lucy et tous les bons conseils pour organiser au mieux nos visites ont été fort appréciés. Nous les recommandons avec grand plaisir !

Wendy’s house is a beautiful, peaceful corner of the world. The period cottage is breath taking. And the room is simple beautiful and the bathroom is as well. Lots of little extras including a very well thought of breakfast tray including most tea bags that the world has to offer! The room is well ventilated and the lighting is lovely. The bathroom is beautiful. Everything needed was there and Wendy is simply the perfect host. Thank you Wendy 💖

Maria and her husband are amazing hosts. They always respond to everything we need and even more - they shared a lot of usefull tips. The place is too cute and cosy, we decide to stay in instead of hiking. The room looks like on a picture and it is super clean. Maria even prepared a gluten free breakfast and snacks for us, much appreciated. In overall this was the best stay from our Scotland trip. Thank you for amazing two days!!!
