The chapel was the perfect spot for a chilled and peaceful stay. The building is beautiful and had very comfortable beds and living areas. Ceri provided everything you could need for a longer stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and excellent recommendations for the area were provided. I especially loved that products supplied were eco and a recycling point was available almost next door. I would definitely recommend staying here.

In einer alten Kirche zu schlafen ist schon etwas besonderes. Das Haus ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, das man sich nur wohlfühlen kann. Ola hat uns ein fantastisches Frühstück bereitet, worauf man sich am zweiten Tag schon wieder gefreut hat. Es ist abgelegen und ruhig, in Mitten der Natur einfach traumhaft. Wenn wir nochmal nach Irland reisen kommen wir bestimmt wieder zu euch. Danke Chris und Ola für die schönen Tage bei euch.

Four generations of our family stayed here for a week while here to celebrate my sons wedding in Tullyveery Killyleagh. What a week of weather! What a fantastic property which has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Very comfortable seats and beds and the space can be and is comfortably warm despite the high ceilings in the living area. We never needed to use the log burning stove .The road outside can be busy during the day but quiet at night. Strangford is a lovely wee place with a few shops and eating places and walks on the doorstep. NT Castleward is very nearby too. A 5 min ferry takes you over the other side to Portaferry where you can explore that side of Strangford loch. We enjoyed our trip very much and would love to return one day. Arlene’s home is truly unique. It felt cozy and welcoming after a long day of sightseeing. We used the kitchen to make delicious meals. There is a large grocery store in walkable distance. Queen’s Park across the street was just beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely, cosy double room with ensuite shower room and use of the adjacent kitchen. The room was very quiet with no traffic noise at all, reached up two flights of stairs. Excellent location with lots of cafes and independent shops close by and a swimming pool 2 mins walk away. Great transport links by tram and bus to Princes street and other areas of Edinburgh, including a direct bus to the Pentland hills for fantastic walking. A great place to stay when visiting Edinburgh, we definitely plan to stay again. Kim is very friendly and communicates well. Thank you for a most enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Pauline was a fantastic host and her home is lovely, I felt very welcome there. The bedroom was spotless and very comfortable, and the local area was nice (there is a country park a few minutes walk away which was really lovely for a walk/run)

Michael & Caroline’s converted church was amazing and very spacious. There were so many pictures, ornaments, church memorabilia to look at. It was very homely and extremely well equipped. We spent time sitting in the lovely conservatory looking out onto lush fields. Our bedroom had a huge balcony- an ideal spot if it had been a little warmer outside. Would highly recommend. Although the driveway up to the church looks narrow it was much easier to negotiate than I had expected in my largeish car thanks to our hosts’ excellent instructions .

What a lovely place soon as you open the old wooden door. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy I didn't want to get out. It was great for the dogs too, we will be staying there again. Kind regards Stephen

This place was perfect. Ideal location in a lovely village with lots to do in the area. The accommodation had everything you need and more. The bath was great the whole place had a very relaxed luxury feel with great views. We were with a toddler and it was also child friendly. Coop and garage just across the road which was handy.

Excellent location for Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling all within an hours drive. Scotlands countryside never disappoints and with the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies virtually on your doorstep what a pleasant day out. Also Blackness Castle is well worth a visit.Facilities are very good with full size Snooker table and Sauna. Local pubs are a bit sparse, however had a lovely meal at the Inn on the Loch in Lanark. The game’s cupboard does need sorting out but that due to kids who never put things away properly. All in all a very enjoyable week here and would recommend it

Jacky is a lovely host, clear instructions were given to us before we arrived along with a thoughtful welcome pack. We had a fantastic stay at Chapel Row. The accomodation was clean, quiet with some nice amenities. The bath and the bed were top notch for relaxation. Lots of walks nearby to entertain ourselves and only a short drive away from Matlock. Would definitely come back, thank you Jacky
