I absolutely loved our stay at Barnacre Alpacas, we stayed in the rose cottage, it was very clean and the hot tub was a bonus. We enjoyed the alpaca walk and talk, that was something I’ll never forget! On arrival the cottage was dressed up for a birthday surprise and champagne and chocolates was left for us. Thank you to Paul and Debbie, we will be back!

Thanks Ben, we had a great weekend at Stanley Cottage. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches, dog treats, human treats, phone chargers, hair straighteners, bathroom products!! The cottage was very comfortable and the hot tub a welcome pause, thank you.

Girls annual weekend getaway. Very good communication. Home was lovely, beds configure to requirements. Well stocked with essentials (soaps/toiletries/washing up liquid/teatowels) - also provided eggs/milk/butter/tea/coffee/buiscuits/crisp and popcorn which was very welcomed. Couple of issues which were rectified promptly - one being heating, which was on a timer, however due to weather (snow) it was very cold - once rectified no issue and hot tub had tripped and needed resetting. Instruction are easy to follow if arriving in day light - however at night the roads are very dark and property isolated so it was difficult to find the property. Would benifit from sign to be lit up at night. Hot tub position is uncovered and the wind blew the top off during the night- therefore unable to use it on the last day as could not get it back up to tempeture and the area was not well lit so unable to use at night time. Had a lovely stay and a lovely house

We absolutely loved our stay at Hannah’s lovely home! Beautifully furnished and the hot tub kept our children entertained. Richmond itself is lovely and easily walkable. And the Yorkshire Dales are just a stones throw away. We would recommend to anyone and look forward to returning!

Jane met us on arrival, explained everything, then left us to chill out. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a lovely gesture and were much appreciated. The cottage was spotless and felt extremely homely. We very much enjoyed the games room and enclosed hot tub. The garden areas were vast with lots of outdoor furniture. We enjoyed a lovely ice cream at Archers ice cream parlour (10 min walk) and experienced both pubs in nearby Heighington, very friendly, great food and service in the George & Dragon. Another recommendation is the nearby Raby castle, definitely a worthwhile visit. We definitely recommend staying at Ivy cottage and look forward to returning there again. Thank you Jane.

A beautiful and cosy home which was spotlessly clean and as described. It had a well equipped kitchen and the hot tub was ready to use on our arrival. I only wish we had stayed for longer!

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

Mark’s and Michelle’s home is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. Everything’s exactly what was in the description— all the amenities are well cared for and the attention to detail are well thought of. So you can also expect a luxurious and pleasant getaway for a reasonable price. Thank you again to you both for your warm hospitality! We’ve had perfect and relaxing weekend rest. We’ll for sure come back— a little longer stay next time.

Lovely little cottage, very quaint and had loads of character. back yard a sun trap. Clean and hygienic. Lovely welcome basket and card from hosts detailing great places to eat and drink and to visit. Bed really comfy. Hosts responded really quickly to messages, great communication. we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cottage 5 mins from beach. Very clean and tidy, milk in fridge on arrival for a much needed cuppa. Good communication from Nick. Would stay again.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. A cute cottage and lovely location with a pub with lots of friendly locals in the doorstep and a lovely stream.

We had a wonderful time at the Garden Rooms. The house and garden were beautiful, and such a great way to experience the springtime. House was clean with full facilities, including charging for electric vehicle. Vanessa was on hand to answer all our questions, and to make us feel really welcome. The area is full of things to do, with great restaurants close by in Corbridge, and castles, beaches and activities not far away at all. Many thanks to Vanessa for helping us have a great Easter holiday!

Lovely weekend at Button Cottage. Cottage is in a fantastic location for local walks and easy access to nearby towns. Cottage was clean and cozy and had everything we needed, even our dog was catered for with food and water bowls, towel and treats, the human welcome goodies were very much appreciated as well. The cottage was well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. All in all a great little place to stay, would definitely recommend.

Thank you Kate for letting us stay in your home. The cottage was perfect for us 3 that were visiting family. It is easy to find and check in and parking is just behind. Abbey Hill Cottages to high above W. Hartlepool. They are well equipped.Beds are comfortable and so is sitting room furniture. Plenty of hot water. Good shower.Lots of space. I would stay again.

We needed a place to stay while our bathroom was being remodelled, and it needed to be close to home so we could check on the progress of the work. Violet Cottage fitted our needs perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked with essentials (the chocolate biscuits were a bonus) and was simply everything we’ve come to expect from an Airbnb Superhost. Grant was very responsive when we had questions and generally made sure our stay was entirely to our satisfaction. For out of town visitors, this place is close to the city centre, close to the river and close to a lot of facilities, both for basic needs and entertainment. We highly recommend Violet Cottage.

An absolute gem of a cottage in a beautiful place. Loved the cottage so much - felt so homely and was a perfect place to venture off into the surrounding areas.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful area. Rachel’s place came up to all expectations and suited our needs of a relaxing couple of days away in peaceful surroundings.communication was excellent and checking in straight forward. In summary we can highly recommend Rachel’s Bramble cottage.

Thank you once again for a lovely stayand your friendly manner. The location is fantastic for the dales and the local pub is 3 mins away and serves lovely food. The cottage is really cosy and we will definitely be back again.

Lovely stay for a short Christmas holiday. Great Christmas Eve at the Kings Arms and a lovely village from which to walk the many and familiar footpaths and lanes with beautiful views all around. The cottage was cosy and warm and very easy to be in and come back to. Would love to stay again sometime. Thanks Ruth
