Wonderful place to stay in Unawatuna. Close to everything, easy to get bus/Tuktuk but such a peaceful environment gorgeous house and gardens. Lovely dogs who were so quiet at night. Ajith was really helpful and accommodating to extra requests. Lovely breakfast each morning.

Мы приехали в три часа ночи и нас встретили, как родных. Хозяева очень внимательные и отзывчивые. Если вам хочется, немножко пожить в тропическом лесу, понаблюдать за попугаями, белками, насекомыми, посмотреть на растения, то это отличное место. Веранда расположена, так, что открывается вид на растительность и создаётся ощущения уединённости. Завтраки заслуживают отдельного внимания, о времени можно договариваться заранее, так как нам было удобно. Всегда был вкусный цейлонский чай, фруктовые шейки, а блюда вкусные с местным колоритом, каждый день новые и разнообразные. Теперь о доме и ее хозяйке. интересный дизайн (из-за чего мы его и выбрали) нам трём друзьям было в нем комфортно и уютно. Реальность оказалась лучше картинки в приложении. Хозяйка реагировала на наши просьбы, все наши нужды были удовлетворены. Интика окружила нас заботой и вниманием. Мы готовили ужины сами, либо на гриле во дворе, либо на кухне дома. Вечера проводили на веранде. Убирают дом, по нашему желанию, так же меняют полотенца. Есть стиральная машина, Хозяйка с удовольствием покажет, как пользоваться техникой. И высушит вещи. Что нас очень порадовало, так это пляж. Широкая береговая линия, отличная температура воды и минимум людей. В отличии от другого конца пляжа. Пешком 12 минут, нам очень нравились эти прогулки, есть возможность посмотреть на настоящую жизнь местных жителей. До фруктового рынка 10 минут. До рыбного рынка 15 минут. Мы очень остались довольны и расположением и ценой и конечно качеством. Спасибо большое за гостеприимство!

It is always a pleasure when a stay lives up to expectations. Darshaka and his Family exceeded our expectations definitely. They were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location was close enough to the beach but very quiet except for birdsong and the odd monkey call. He also organised tours for us which were great. We will come again.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Andy and Daniel’s beautiful pool house, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed – Andy and Daniel are the kindest, most thoughtful hosts you could hope for. The pool house itself is lovely, and especially our daughter very much enjoyed the pool. We tried the home cooked breakfast and dinner as well, which was delicious! Andy went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her warmth and hospitality made our stay all the more memorable. It’s rare to find an airbnb that feels so effortlessly welcoming. Can’t recommend this magical place enough!

I had a great time staying at Waduge Amila's house. He and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. He bought me a toothbrush as I had forgotten mine, and his wife made me a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and tidy, complete with a powerful fan and mosquito net. I got some peaceful and much needed rest. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Amazing stay with the most wonderful staff. Thank you so much to Indi, Kelum and Anil for taking such good care of us. We stayed for over a month and we were made to feel at home for the whole stay. The garden and pool area is so relaxing, the view from the kitchen and dining area is lovely and the location is ideal. Could not recommend Ebb and Flow enough. Thank you again to all of the team! x

This awesome house is run by a very sweet family who are easy to communicate with and always do their best to help. The location is in a very green and quiet area away from the hustle and bustle with a beautiful Buddhist temple and green rice fields nearby with lots peacocks (and all kinds of birds) around. I stayed at this house for two months and it has been a delight.

Aufenthalt bei sanath war richtig toll und wir haben uns gleich wie zu hause gefühlt. Sanath hat auch für uns gekocht was sehr lecker war und immer hilfsbereit auf fragen. Das frühstück gabs direkt am strand. Allem in allem ein paar schöne tage. Danke dir und deiner frau.

Die Unterkunft ist der perfekte Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Direkt am Strand gelegen ist die Lage unschlagbar und auch der große Garten ist ein Paradies. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf dem großen Gelände kamen wir auch mit ein paar Stammgästen ins Gespräch, die seit vielen Jahren immer wieder diese Unterkunft wählen. Wir können absolut verstehen, wieso sie immer wieder kommen und würden es genauso machen. Nach ein paar Tagen hatten wir sogar das Gefühl, ein bisschen zur Familie dazuzugehören und haben an unserem letzten Tag noch gemeinsam Kokosnüsse gepflückt - das war wirklich sehr schön. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft und die tolle Zeit! ✨

Villa Sublime lives up to its name. We spent a month in Sri Lanka travelling around AirBnB's and this was my favourite. The location is convenient but yet you feel a million miles away from other people. The grounds and the accommodation are immaculate and tasteful. Darshini is a great cook and so obliging, we were there to chill and we ate at the villa most days so we really availed ourselves of her wonderful Sri Lankan food. The pool was fabulous and it's so much fun to float about and watch the monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and birds. I would go back in a heartbeat, and I'm fussy. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans le logement qui est vraiment face à la mer, sur la plage il y a des transat réservés exprès pour nous , très peu de monde sur la plage , c’est vraiment paisible et nous avons le coucher de soleil depuis la chambre ! Hôte investi et très gentil. Petit déjeuner compris , délicieux et très copieux ! Je recommande 100% ce logement , encore merci pour tout

A glorious stay. Most comfortable. Loved the plunge pool and it's setting. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts. We really enjoyed our stay with Dinesh. A beautiful home set in a magical garden setting with the birds and monkeys around. A short tuktuk ride into Galle or walk nearby restaurants. Enjoyed chatting with Dinesh who took the time to engage with us. Highly recommended.

Wir legen jedem Sri Lanka Reisenden einen Aufenthalt in Sankas Villa ans Herz. Wir haben dort die letzte knappe Woche unserer Reise verbracht, um dort auszuspannen und den Stationen unserer Rundreise nachzusinnen. Dafür eignet sich kaum eine andere Unterkunft so sehr wie Sankarest. Die Unterkunft selbst ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Jedes des Zimmer hat vor der Eingangstür eine zusätzliche beschattete Veranda. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und sorgsam gepflegt, ebenso die Poolanlage. Aber die familiäre, freundliche Atmosphäre, in der man sich unglaublich wohlfühlt, ist das klare Highlight. Die gesamte Familie und die anderen helfenden Hände sind überaus hilfsbereit und immer offen und ansprechbar, wenn es um Ausflugstipps und jegliche andere Anliegen geht. Das Essen wird mit sehr viel Liebe gekocht. Der Strand liegt nur zwei Minuten von der Villa entfernt, eignet sich dort direkt aber nicht zum Schwimmen, aber 300 m weiter kann man wunderbar schwimmen. Auf nach Kosgoda!

Nydelig sted å tilbringe tiden sin. Vårt favoritt sted. Bandu og kona hans var så vennlige og hyggelige. Hjelpsomme med lokale anbefalinger. Svært god frokost, og når jeg ba om å få prøve Sri Lankisk frokost så lagde de det til meg.

We had another wonderful stay in the villa this year. This time I didn't book directly by the sea, but a little further back. The room was very big and the two beds were very comfortable. The terrace was a dream, where I could enjoy my coffee every morning at 7 a.m. with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was as delicious as always and really plentiful (great Sri Lankan breakfast on request) ❤️ The whole team is as helpful and friendly as always. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. Thank you, dear Maria, to you and your fantastic team.🙏❤️

Soorya Kala was our first accommodation in Sri Lanka, and I can only say it was the perfect start to our trip! The place is very modern, beautifully decorated, and absolutely clean. The location is a dream – right on the beach, with restaurants and shops within walking distance, and you can listen to the waves while falling asleep. The breakfast is included and incredibly delicious! But what impressed us the most was the hospitality from Nagulan and the whole team. We felt completely at home and would definitely recommend this place!

had an amazing experience staying at Bathiya's place! From the moment I arrived, He made me feel incredibly welcome. The space was just as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my trip was definitely the food! The dumplings and pancakes served at the property were absolutely delicious—highly recommend trying them. The flavors were incredible, and you can tell they were made with a lot of care. It was such a nice bonus to enjoy home-cooked meals during my stay. Bathiya went above and beyond to ensure I had a great time, offering local tips and being responsive to any questions I had. The location was perfect, with easy access to Beach and restaurants around making it the ideal spot for exploring the area. I truly appreciated Bathiya's hospitality and attention to detail. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area..

My first place I stayed at in Sri Lanka and I really enjoyed it. Many travelers Iet raved about it also but in comparison to other places they'd stayed. Liked: The complimentary breakfasts that were great. The ac rooms. The monkeys on the roof! The super friendly and smiling neighbors. Short walk to the beach. Deck to sit on and read was peaceful. Washing machine. Bottled water to use. Didn't like: The kitchen wasn't as stocked as I'd like. The spices could use labeling and a refeash, the knives needed sharpening too. A cutting board would be nice (could help keep knives sharp longer too). Overall it wasn't so much a house stay as I was expecting, but more like a hostel of sorts. I loved it and would recommend.

My stay at the Native was great. Diana and everyone who works there are so friendly and helpful. It was nice to be a little inland from the beach and see a different part of Weligama. Definitely walkable, but renting a scooter makes it more convenient. The breakfasts and coffee in the morning were all very delicious and a very nice added value to the room. Thank you for the great stay!
