Beautiful house in a beautiful location!Perfect spot for our weekend getaway! Private and full of nature and views! I hope to stay again in the future! The house was clean and comfy and had everything we needed and more. Hot tub was perfect for a relaxing soak. Highly recommend this jewel!

We went for our wedding night, I loved that we just got to disappear from the face of the earth and not get bugged all night by our phones. Beautiful property and three ducks that follow you around like side kicks!

Lake is peaceful. Use Apple Maps to get to location as Google takes you down a terrible bumpy road. Kayaking the lake was our favorite part. Dock was fun for fishing and grilling. Hot tub was on the other side of the property and had no privacy screen so it was not secluded which is what we would have preferred. If the neighbors would have been home it would have been super awkward. Bed had some sagging in the middle and didn’t have a zip closure mattress pad. Top of mattress pad was not clean either. If you desire a shower make sure not to book here but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us.

This was our second time staying here, and it absolutely won’t be our last. It’s the perfect peaceful escape. It’s romantic, quiet, and incredibly clean. The space has everything we need for a cozy getaway, and you can really feel the care that goes into keeping it spotless and welcoming. The host is always responsive and helpful, which makes everything even smoother. We truly look forward to coming back again as it’s become a little sanctuary for us. Plus, plenty of room to park a boat with access to plug it in bringing our own drop cords. The host really put a lot of thought into designing this space. You can feel as soon as you arrive.

What a beautiful Air bnb! We stayed one night during a cross country road strip and wished we had time for a second night. The pool and hot tub area was beautiful and there were so many toys and activities for kids. Inside the house was just wonderful…we felt so at home and there were so many lovely touches. We have stayed in a lot of air bnbs and this one really was one of the best. It had every kitchen utensil or kitchen equipment you could dream of, with drawers and cupboards clearly labeled making it easy to find things in new surroundings. Very comfortable beds and sofas. The surrounding area was pretty farmland and not too far from the highway and maybe 40mins outside of Dallas so perfect for us. I’m not sure if there was much around in terms of restaurants but with such a beautiful house we really didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect place to recharge our weary travelling souls and get back on the road…highly highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Willow’s Cabin. It was the exact vibe we were looking for for our relaxing weekend away. The dogs had so much fun playing in the ponds, and we had even more fun meeting the pigs, relaxing in the hot tub, and making s’mores. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

perfect for our trip

Jeff & Leslie have a beautiful little cabin surrounded by true beauty and peace. I enjoyed yoga on the dock listening to the sounds of birds chirping and water flowing. The kids loved the bonfire, and the little visitors we had. (Bunnies, birds, squirrels) overall, loved the location, the place had everything I needed. Not once did I need something they did not have. I cooked several meals and we had a nice time unwinding and relaxing away from the big city. Would definitely return.

Kyle's place was great and exactly what we needed to stay a few nights in Kilgore while visiting family.

This was our get away, away from the city life. It was peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. Our fur babies loved it as well.

This place was beyond wonderful. The extra amenities made the stay extra special. The unit was nice and clean and the property was very well maintained. It was very quiet and peaceful! Lori is by far, one of the best hostesess that I have encountered! Overall, this was an amazing stay. 10/10, I would definitely recommend!!!

We had the best weekend as a family! Leslie’s cabin was more than we expected. Fully stocked with anything you think you might need in the kitchen, spacious, super clean, and soooo quiet! Our kids didn’t come inside all day, and at night loved making s’mores at the fire pit. Thank you for giving us a care free weekend away where we could disconnect, unwind, and spend time with each other. This might be the best Airbnb we have stayed at and we can’t wait to come back!

Extremely comfortable beds and cozy cabin with all the amenities you'd ever need. Our girls loved the playground! We loved how patient Robin was with letting the girls feed the animals. Our souls were replenished being around nature and the animals!

We had a great time at Whistling Duck Cabin. Peaceful with beautiful views! Exactly the kind of break we needed and enjoyed everyday fishing. Conveniently located for first Monday in Canton. Would definitely recommend!

First let me say this, the pictures do not do this place justice! From arrival until departure we were happy. Brought my dad on a fishing trip to fish from the boat house. He is partially disabled and has trouble walking inclines or long distances. The boathouse was not too far from the house or not too hard of a walk for him. We were able to catch 2 catfish from there. No boats needed! Fair warning, you are in the wild and will see some spiders but they stay to themselves. Will definitely be back again soon!

Beautiful cabin it has something for everyone. My kids loved the enchanted forest walk next to the cabin. Great costumer service.

My sister and I stayed one night but wish we’d stayed 2. The cabin was as Scott described. We felt very comfortable, but we especially felt safe. Beautiful lake tucked back into a wooded cove. We left the cabin as clean as we found it and made sure to take out the trash, even though Scott didn’t request it. We were disappointed to find out we didn’t have access to the dock once we got there. Even though the main photo showed the dock. We did walk out onto the dock and it would’ve been a lovely place to enjoy the lake or even fish. I made the mistake of not reading the rules first to find out we did not have dock access. Also, tiny hot water tank only kept the water hot for about 5 minutes or so. My sister wait about an hour and took a shower after me and had about 7 minutes of hot water. Overall, we’d enjoy staying again.

This cozy cabin has rustic charm with peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The screened front porch was a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. It was the perfect getaway to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you!
