12 minutes on foot from Shizuoka station, Hitoyado is a guest house with a renovated 50 year old coffee shop on the first floor. There are restaurants and public baths in the neighborhood. It offers a simple breakfast for 550 yen (your choice of drink and toast). The facility's check-in time is from 2 PM to 8 PM. Please note that we cannot accept check-ins after 8 PM. SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

The closest accomodation from the JR Toyama Station, Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design and the Kansui Park. We have a cat. Please refrain from staying if you are allergic to cats or don't like cats.
