Kelvin was a super host. One day the lockbox jammed. It was no problem as we had access the spare keys but even still, Kelvin immeditaely he replaced it! He also showed us around the amazing property like a real gentleman. Thanks Kelvin. It was peaceful, had everything we needed and is a very special property. I hope we can return in summer to experience the beautiful, naturally plant filtered swimming pool.

myself and grandchildren loved Cecile's place..homely and has everything our lil family needed even the extras of brekky stuff, spreads, bread, milk ..truly appreciated when showing up with X4 young children ..We had a dip in pool abit cool at this time of year but refreshing ..

we really enjoyed our time at the house, it had everything we needed for a relaxing night, especially the pool as it was a very warm day. a short drive to Masterson for supplies but a great spot to stargaze without light pollution. loved it, thank you Sarah ☺️

Such a beautiful home for our family of 5. This house had absolutely everything we needed so we decided to stay home and enjoy it. we will totally be back 😊

This place really felt like a home away from home. There was everything we needed. The hot tub and pool were much enjoyed. We were able to have a wonderful gathering with overseas family members and visits from our NZ children, plenty of space. We loved the beach. Simon was very friendly and helpful.

A lovely property for our whole family with plenty of space and activities to keep everyone happy. We’ll definitely be back - it was well worth the cost and the owners/carers are helpful and friendly. A great location in both sunny and wet weather conditions.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Great kiwi bach at the beach! It was in a great location and while compact in size didn't feel cramped or uncomfortable in any way, it was also set up with everything you could need. Bathroom was on the smaller side and felt a little tight but still functional. Ideal for short stays.

Great, relaxed little place just 5 mins walk from the beach and across the road from the delicious baked delights of the local 4 square. Comfy beds, very well stocked kitchen and a huge fenced back yard. We'd definitely go back!

Sophie was a very responsive and helpful host, the house was lovely and very well stocked! The beds were really comfy and living/outdoor space was lovely in the evenings. Also, amazing shower pressure which is perfect after a day at the beach. The location near the 4square is perfect, but you’re probably better off driving or biking the 2km to the beach, especially if it’s hot. Overall an amazing stay in a lovely home, thank you Sophie!

Our stay was beautiful! Absolutely loved every moment and the place was stunning absolutely exceeded our expectations and felt very homey! Close to the beach which is always a bonus on holiday and was a very quiet environment which is great for some more chill evenings!

This was an ideal spot to rest and use as a base for business I had in the area. The house is modern and simple, well insulated, and spotless with modern furnishings and a variety of kitchen items and appliances to use. Arriving on a cold afternoon to find that Barry had pre-heated the accommodation was a nice touch making the place warm and inviting. Clear instructions were left on the dining bench and Barry ensured that privacy was maintained by keeping his distance from his house immediately adjacent the accommodation. I would stay here again if I'm travelling back through the district.

Really enjoyed the space the house provided, given we are a family of five. Nice laid back house, which was just what we wanted. Beach was safe and only a short walk away. We'd happily return, we really enjoyed our stay.

Felt right at home as I entered Paul’s home.The home was close to all amenities and very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood.Would definitely recommend to others.

Alex’s place is the perfect Kiwi Bach experience. Well appointed and really family friendly. The kids toys were brilliant and loads of space. Alex was fast to communicate and give a heads up about it having shear curtains in the kids room prior to booking. It’s also super handy to the park, walk and cafe. The decking is also a highlight. We’d happily stay again!!

We recommend and hope to stay again; comfy beds, great linen & blankets, just like arriving home after a cleaner has visited (everything you need and well organised) ♥ Even had milk in the fridge (thank you!!!!) PS the FOUR SQUARE in town is worthy of a GOLD STAR too! Wonderful little bach. We loved it and played The Chase game you had there. We could hear the sea roaring on Sunday morning (after the storm).
