This place was beautiful. We loved the kitchen and how open the inside was. The screened porch area was great to relax without worrying about bugs. The lights in the back made night fishing and hanging outside longer possible, and we really enjoyed that. We would definitely book this place again!

Loved this area and how peaceful it is. This neighborhood itself is adorable with a friendly safe welcoming vibe. The neighbors are awesome, super friendly and helpful. The house was great very comfortable and relaxing stay. Very clean and smelled great. The weather was perfect and we were in the backyard most of the time. Haven’t seen my kids off electronics like this in forever. They had so much fun fishing off the dock and playing corn hole. We enjoyed taking the golf cart to the beach and watching the sunset with the kids. Kayaking was great to watch the sunset as well. There were a few minor mishaps (things that just happen) but the owners were quick to respond and offer a solution to any issue we had. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family that want a more lowkey beach vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was decorated beautifully and well equipped. We made great use of the kayaks, bikes and fire pit. It's a very peaceful tranquil neighborhood. The dock was my favorite place to have coffee in the morning and end our day when all the twinkle lights go on around the property.

Great family trip! Two couples with six kids total. Plenty of room for everyone. The water, river and dock were great. TONs of wildlife right from the back yard. If you bring your boat, the Hernando Beach Flats are a short ride away. Can’t wait to return.

We had an amazing 2 week stay. The house backs onto the water, which is absolutely stunning & peaceful. We used the kayaks to check out the area and our dog laid on the dock and watched the birds. The house had everything you could need. It was actually much bigger than it looked. Lots of towels and bedding etc. Sandy was super responsive and helpful. Even giving an all too helpful ice cream parlor review 😄 which became a too frequent outing. The location is great. For us, so much was within 1 hour of the house. World class beaches, mermaids, state parks. We were so sad to leave and hope to be back again someday!

Great place to bring a boat. Nice deep canal and plenty of parking. We were two couples… the split floor plan with two king beds was perfect. And of course we loved that it was dog friendly. Highly recommend and would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful time at this perfectly located home. There were 10 of us total. There was enough space to all be together or places to have alone time. The house was gorgeous, well appointed, very clean, and comfortable. There were a few (very minor) issues I brought to Danon's attention mid week (more of heads of for his to do list for his next guests and no bother to us at all). After making sure it wouldn't inconvenience us, he got them taken care of. I highly recommend staying here. Manatees, the wild life, the people watching on the weekends, back to total serenity during the week... It really is fantastic. We kayaked all over and didn't see a better home we would want to stay in. You won't be disappointed.

We had an amazing 3 days at Sally's place! The house was clean and comfortable and we especially loved the use of kayaks right off the dock. We saw manatees right off the dock two of the days that we were there! We kayaked upstream toward the state park and downstream toward Rogers park every day. Sally recommended bug spray and that is for sure important! We cooked out one night on the charcoal grill, but there are also great restaurants nearby. It's a quick trip to the main road with all the stores you'll need. Sally was very communicative and responded right away to any questions that I had. We would stay here again!

Cozy, comfortable, yet two stories with plenty space to stretch out, scenic view with a hot tub, nice balcony view for coffee in the morning. Can’t go wrong.

We had such a great stay at Kristin’s place! It was super cute, really clean, and had everything we needed. Kristin was amazing — super responsive and helpful with all of my questions. The AC worked perfectly, which was such a relief with the April heat, and the shower was awesome too. There was a little construction nearby, but honestly, we barely even noticed it, and Kristin made sure to let us know about it ahead of time. The private dock felt so peaceful and tucked away, and the gazebo made the perfect spot for our wedding ceremony — it was seriously magical. Kristin made us feel so welcome and at home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our special day. We’re so grateful and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing and peaceful. This was exactly what I and my kids (6 and 14) needed for a weekend trip! I would highly recommend and would book again if coming to the area without hesitation.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The home was clean and exactly as listed, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights was kayaking with the manatees; we even saw baby manatees and lots of other wildlife. The location felt private yet was conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, which was perfect. Check-in was a breeze, and we enjoyed easy day trips to Tarpon Springs, Honeymoon Island for shelling, Dunedin and Tampa. Weeki wachee state park was just down the street and a fun visit. This place is great for families with young kids, as we appreciated the security measures in place to keep the little ones safe. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The Alafia River House did not disappoint. Check in was easy with helpful photos & directions. The neighborhood is pretty quiet but yet close to everything too. The house is tucked in right on the river, the yard is lush & Florida tropical, it is the perfect place to sit & read, eat a meal or take a nap. Watching the chickens and surrounding nature are an added bonus. The home is old with character, but so clean & refreshing. All the things you need and more are carefully stowed in antique furniture. Martha is easy to contact, but you shouldn’t need anything. The kitchen is up to date & has all of the extra things that you probably forgot to bring. My husband and I had a sweet trip & the Alafia River House was a gem. Thank you Martha.

Dream cottage was just that! It’s a quiet spot in the perfect location! We saw dolphins, and manatees! Brian was super awesome, and right next door! The remodel of the place was adorable and it was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

We arrived at Maria's place and it looked just like the photos, it was beautiful. If you are a nature lover then this is the place for you. My husband loves fishing and they have a boat dock and kayaks you can use. It was the perfect place for him to fish and relax on the water. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day afte walking around sight seeing the gorgeous surroundings. Maria gave us alot of great advice as to where to go eat and also the best places for my husband to go fishing.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Perfect place to disconnect your self from everything. We love our stay!!! The cabin was just perfect for the 3 of us. Love the River and the screened porch.

The tranquility of the back deck was incedible. The location was perfect for visiting our friends at Chassahowitzka Campground (1.5 miles away). I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore the area, especially the manatees and the three or seven sisters springs. One extra bonus was watching the albino squirrel from the front porch in the morning. We had an issue and were very responsive.

This place provided us with exactly what we were looking for. it was very quiet and secluded and felt like home. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and we're very responsive and communicative before and throughout our stay. we absolutely loved this little getaway and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet away from the rest of the world!

We appreciate home because it offers plenty of space for the family to hang out. This includes a spacious Florida room, two separate outdoor sitting areas for BBQ, and access to the Alafia River for fishing and kayaking. Plus, Gisselle was very responsive to any issues that we had.

We had an amazing week away from NY at Dustin’s A Frame Home. The location was perfect, right in the river but not where all the crowds are. The house made us feel right at home with our two Frenchies. The house and the area is magical from the colorful butterflies, beautiful birds, little lizards, manatees and we even saw a baby and mom dolphin swim by. The weeki wachi river is gorgeous and Dustin gives you all the kayaks and SUP you need right at the house. I highly recommend renting the Round Boats as well. We loved it so much we rented them two days in a row and got a deal for it. You cover so much more of the River and it’s so relaxing. We hope to get back to Dustin’s space in the future, it was really hard to leave. If you thinking about booking it, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Dustin and all for an amazing week away.

great place for the money..very peaceful.

My husband and I just had the absolute, most amazing stay at this cabin in the woods. The hosts communicated thoroughly and were very responsive to any inquiries we had. The photos and description are all 100% accurate but don’t show the true beauty and serenity of this hidden gem. There were several kayaks w/lifejackets, firewood (with starters), fishing poles w/tackle, coffee/tea provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Pack your food, drinks and clothes-that is it! They have everything needed for the most relaxing and wonderful get-away!

You can’t beat the hospitality and the views. Perfect for small center consoles and bay boats. Cameron was friendly and very helpful would recommend this place to any scalloper or inshore fishermen.
